You must do the fists full of dollars trilogy! If you want a western from clint eastwood , he's done many spaghetti westerns. But this trilogy is excellent
I like those x men comics in the background. I have them from the early 80s. Also have my dad's 50s and 60s, comic books and tons of Marvel and DC Comics. I was born in 1968 I got a lot if you want to see what I got.... Can't wait for Marvel secret wars I have the full series in comics
No music the whole film, then as he's leaving at the end that music kicks in and it gives me chills. A really daring choice that I don't think anyone else would have made.
I know I'm a little late, but I'm here for your reaction and thoughts. It's not in my personal top tier (but close), yet it is one hell of a decent film on all fronts. The story is such a fresh take on some old standards, and the whole cast is on fire!
I like the character of Mr Beachamp; he’s looking for a real western gun slinger to romanticise for his writing. He initially goes with English Bob because he’s obviously heard all the stories and thinks he’s the real deal…. Then after meeting Little Bill he realises that Bob is only really good at shooting pheasants and drunk people. Then begins to listen to Little Bill’s stories and writes for him. Until he meets William Munny and then there is absolutely no question of who the real deal is; walks into a room outnumbered maybe 30-1 and blows them all away like it’s as mundane a task as hanging out the laundry. But simultaneously William Munny is the only character in the movie who isn’t proud of killing people. Bob, Billl, Schofield Kid, Ned; everyone of them is either claiming how good of a shot they are or how badass they are, or how many people they’ve killed. Whenever William is asked about his past he plays it down (he claims he killed 2 men and Ned corrects him saying that it was 3) - or changes the subject because he’s ashamed of his past because of the way his wife hated that side of him. But then when he has his fever and sees the Angel of death in his dreams, he knows that he’s effectively “Unforgiven”, at that point. When he learns of Ned’s death you see his tone instantly alter. He goes from quivering frail old man to “I’ve got nothing to lose because I’m going to hell anyway”. Then he takes his first sip of whisky which was a key moment having stated that he only ever killed whilst drunk, and his wife had cured him of that. Then entering the bar and the real truth comes pouring out about who he really is and what he’s really done, he’s basically a walking plague; just kills, period. Then proceeds to kill everyone in the room apart from the only person who can live to write & tell the whole story - which is essentially what we’ve just watched.
In those days it was very common to only load 5 rounds in a "6gun" as they had a fixed firing pin and no safety. They carried it with the hammer on the empty cylinder so that if it was dropped or bumped it wouldn't go off.
Ain't that something that kids could take care of themselves at 10 and now adays a 20 year old cant be left alone. Except my kids. They could do it. Its all im jow you raise them i guess.
Another classic from the legend Clint Eastwood. Hit the 👍 for me
Five hundred dollars back then was about fifteen thousand dollars today

- “Outlaw Josey Wales” 1976
- “Fistful of Dollars” 1964
A great movie...about the legends of great men and bad men. William hid from his story, until he couldn't any longer.
Clint is a legend
Check out “Outlaw Josie Wales”
My fav
Good reaction sir. Found your channel on my way to movie munchies for some more reactions. You deserve a subscribe.
Try and get you in that “Jet Stream Algorithm” 😂😂👊

Little Bill gave him a gun with only 5m rounds in it. Left the 1st chamber empty so if English Bob had took the gun, he'd have had no chance.

Good film, I enjoyed it.
How The West really was
Now that's a real gangsta movie

Guns in the old west did not have ssfety so cowboys leave the first chamber empty in case riding on a horse would accidebtally set the gun off.
