The script to this movie is used in film school as an example of a perfect screenplay. There isn't a single line, scene or character in it that doesn't serve to push forward the plot. There is no "fat" on it, it's as tight a script as you'll find.

It helps that the building that script is being taught in, is named The Bob Zemeckis Building.

    1. Cranky principal Strickland/James Tolkan also played the ship's squadron leader in "Top Gun".
    2. The teacher that tells Marty, "Hold it fellas, I'm afraid you're just too darn loud" is Huey Lewis himself. "Heart of rock and roll" etc.
    3. Eric Stoltz was first cast as Marty, but he didn't play well with others and wasn't giving the tone they were looking for. fired. Some of his long shots are still in the movie.
    4. The flammable material set on fire with the model exercise had to have been put there on purpose. Movie magic.
    5. It's always fun to see how people react to the Marty and his mom car scene.
    6. George McFly/Crispin Glover didn't like that the story ended with the family being prosperous. DA🙄
    7. Twin Pines Mall becomes Lone Pine Mall when Marty takes one out when he goes back to 1955.
    8. IMVHO part II is my favorite of the trifecta.
    9. If you want a first time/share of an OUTSTANDING movie where Christopher Lloyd plays the heavy you must do "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

@20:13 The dude in Biff’s gang wearing the 3-D glasses is Casey Siemasko. One of the older brothers in Stand By Me. Star of 3 O’Clock High. One of the Young Guns (he’s good in it too). Does voices for Rockstar Games sometimes (Roebel the Polish debtor in Red Dead 2)

Great reaction CJ. For sure some already said so, but the High-School Band Audition Judge saying : "Okay, thank you. That's enough. Hold it now. Hold it. Hold it, fellas. I'm afraid you're just too darn loud. Next, please." was no other than Huey Lewis himself, who performed the songs Power of Love and Back in Time for the movie. Amazing movie and so quotable. Hopefully you'll do Part II and III as well?

As someone born in 1950, the 1955 world as it is portrayed here is just awesome. Many things changed but at such a glacial pace, it was easy to forgot how far things had gotten. The movie also nailed the clashes of the two eras.
If I was teaching a class in American history, I'd show the class this movie, "It's A Wonderful Life," and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." "Wonderful Life" shows segments of ordinary vernacular American life from 1918 to 1946. Despite being a comedy, a wacky one at that, the underlying plot of "Roger Rabbit" is how our car culture triumphed over how people for eons clustered downtown. This movie shows the effects of bustling downtown of 1955 and the suburban housing and shopping shift, leaving the downtown marginalized and neglected. (Robert Zemeckis directed both RR and BttF, playing on the same theme each time, but vastly different ways.)

@@CJmidnightreactions Without giving too much away, it follows a guy's life in a small town in upstate NY. It touches on the 1918 flu epidemic, the roaring twenties (with the Charleston dominating the graduation party), the bank runs of the Great Depression, and WWII as seen on the home front. One of my most favorite movies of all time, right up there with Wizard of Oz and Red, White & Royal Blue.

Roger Rabbit is accurate with the depiction of the Freeway takeover in Los Angeles and actually demonstrates the problem with current Los Angeles.
L.A. Confidential is also about the LA freeway corruption era.

Hi, thank you so much for reacting to BTTF Part 1. So pleased that you are reacting to the whole trilogy, as BTTF really is The Greatest Trilogy EVER, and from your reactions, you are going to love them..... Spoiler alert, when you get to the end of part two it will show 'TO BE CONCLUDED', it may be best to stop it there as it shows some bits of part three, which can spoil it for some people. 🙂

Orriginally, Marty was played by Eric Stolz(the heroin dealer in Pulp Fiction) but had to be replaced by MJ Fox after a few weeks because he played the roll not as a comedy but a horror story. The way he saw it, Marty's entire life was rewritten. The family he returned to wasnt his family at all. All his memories wouldnt have happened. Hed have a history he wouldnt know at all, living with impostors. Jennifer also had to be recast because the actress was 5'7" and MJ Fox is 5'4".

Lea Thompson (Mom) stars in a crazy movie called Howard The Duck. It’s a wacky adult comedy which also has a scene of her on all fours offering herself and it’s enough to raise the hairs on the back of your neck.

If you haven't seen the Hobbit and the lord of the Rings then watch THE HOBBIT first then the Lord of the Rings. That's how they were wrote and in my opinion are better to watch that way. The Hobbit then the lord of the Rings, nobody does it that way,
