There are a couple of things I wish I touched on while filming, I’m going to leave those bits here
    1. When thinking about what you want your characters to look like, consider starting with animals, foliage or even inanimate objects, because they can give you a super good baseline for their looks. I’d still start with simple shapes when illustrating them if you don’t have any prior illustration skills built up.
    2. secondly, when thinking about why your characters exist, think of your own life. Why do you, or even us as humans exist. It’s a good idea to look at your own life as inspiration for your new characters.
    3. And lastly, when thinking about the little things for your character or characters, think of yourself again or consider your friends or family for inspiration. There might be relationships in your life that could serve as great points of reference for your new characters.
Don’t give up creating, you never know where your art or characters can take you, they might even be there for you when your friends and family aren’t. I know that’s been the case for me, canboy and kirk at times.
Thanks for exposing your eyes to all this blue light, I hope it wasn’t for nothing lol
I also hope this tutorial on creating your own cartoon characters helps you begin or continue your creative journey.
This was my first time writing a script for a video and I’m sure it showed in some parts, good and bad. I’m definitely going to continue doing it this way, it was helpful in guiding me through my points even if I didn’t reference it 100%.
Creating your own cartoon characters can be difficult and you’ll definitely find yourself wanting to give up along the way, but hopefully this video can help pick you pick up or keep you progressing.
I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE MUSIC, C418 gives consent to use as long as credit is given which I’ll be doing here

Thanks to Daniel for giving creators the opportunity to use his music, it’s beautiful and versatile and I look forward to continuing to use use it in the future :)

How do I script fewer sentences in my panels, for example, 8 panels, please, and thank you 😊

That’s a really good question, if I understand it correctly you don’t need to shrink your sentences all that much. Leave room in your illustrations for text bubbles and write the text before you put it in a bubble.
It’s easier to draw a bubble around your words than to try and squeeze your words into an existing bubble.
      Did I understand you right?
