I have lived in Huddersfield for most of my 60 years and attended this college for 3 or 4 courses from 1979 onwards. My Mum was a Drama/General Studies Lecturer here too during the 80's and 90's.
As soon you showed the library it brought back so many memories for me. In its day, it was like walking around a rabbit warren or a maze.
I drive past there most days and have wondered what it looked like inside before the main concrete structure was demolished last year. It took months to clear the site of all the rubble, but now it looks like they're on their way to constructing what ever the hell it is they're gonna build. No doubt it'll be something no one wants, as is the remit of Kirkless Clowncil these days...........

Great video lads as always. The level of vandalism is staggering, and unfortunately really reflects the direction that many parts of today's society is heading in the UK. Its good that the site and the listed building will find a new purpose and that something good can come from the carnage. Thanks

my questions for the Q/A: what inspired you to explore abandoned places?
how did you all become friends (how did you all meet)?
who first came up with the idea to start this RUclips channel?
how did you come up with the name Urbandond?

The grotty "new" bits yes and there's flats, houses and even a Lidl going in.
The classical temple to health is Grade II* listed so not even the might of the house builders, nor the wealth of the german grocers can flatten that.
      Thank Gott!

except for the older listed areas of the lot this has all been torn down now, my mum went to the college when it was still open and she says it was an alright place.
its a shame they wont pay more respect or homage to the old history of the older building or the old hospital.
i go past this area every single time i go into the town centre and i must say it looks weird now it has been torn down

the new bit extension was pulled down. the hospital part has a legal problem, since it was paid for by public subscription, so technecly belongs to the people.very advanced at the time. building the college was first class as well, spent time in both buildings as a student plus hospital patient

Hiya Alistair, there's nowhere in Whitehaven were you can explore, most the unwanted old buildings got demolished this time last year, my question is have any of you went through the floor, but you've had to edited it out? during editing later on? I wish these kids would leave these Victorian buildings alone, its good that the hospital has been listed, then it could be used for something else, could you explore a former workhouse, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England

Hey guys, great video. Relatively new to the channel. We have recently started our channel doing exploring and paranormal and we just get so terrified going into places, sometimes to the point we bail out...our question to you is when you first started out, how did you overcome the fear of being somewhere you're not supposed to be and getting caught or meeting people inside you were unaware of? Is it something you actually get over or just something you harden up to over time? Any advice on increasing confidence?
    Take care lads 🤘

You boys are not averse to a bit of arseing about thank goodness, so for the Q& A, how much of your B roll / unbroadcastable / Bleeps and bloopers footage are you/can you spoil us with?
And have you ever set one another up on a late night recce of a new place, say, slipping ahead and making ghostly groans to scare the beJesus out of your mates?
