Man, with good earphones and kind of high volume, it looks and sound like im playing a horror game or atleast watching someone play a horror game from first person perspective
Always, always carry more than one flashlight bc you may lose it or batteries could die easily. Extra batteries do no good on only one flashlight that is lost. Be well acquainted with flashlight runtimes on different power settings. When I was 16, I got lost in the woods for an hour and it was.so dark that i couldn't see my hand in front of my face. Worse yet, i had my treestand on my back and it was getting caught on every branch.
Thanks, that's excellent advice. Never rely totally on one piece of tech. Always pack a back up. A master tool in your pack and buck knife strapped to your strongest side are great too. Air horns, too will scare pretty much everything sniffing around your tent in the silence. (Or Grizzly wraps or take away as my bro used to say)
If you've got a mate willing to do this madness with you then he's a proper mate! Stay safe! Just watching this at home is scary enough! At least get yourself a stick!
I wanna do this kind of stuff so bad. I love camping! Edit: does anyone else feel like these videos is the horror game darkwood but as a first person game? These videos are so good man, keep up the good work :)
Carry 2 or 3 LED flashlights. Get 5,000-6,000 lumens power with a domed projector lens that will cast , a wide, round, circular bright white light. They usually come with several power modes for saving power so you can use low power for walking, down a trail and see branches and limbs from stabbing your face. Wear a bump helmet. Theyre just fancy skateboard helmets but it will protect you head from being bonked by a branch or if you slip and fall. I put a piece of reflective tape on the back to function as "cat eyes" so it can be seen by people in my rear if we're walking in a file. (Ex military here). If you're with a group, you may even consider using cyalume glow sticks for each person so everyone can be seen at all times. Not recommended ifyou're anticipating on running into feral humans, psycho killers, or dogman creatures. 2 quartz size bottles of water or gatorade for each person. You'll thank me later. A large field knife that can double as a machete or camp duty knife. A tomahawk for chopping branches, making feather sticks and digging a hole in the ground for a fire pit. Also makes a great close quarter combat weapon. 4 or 5 BIC lighters or 2 fully fueled cigar torches. Cigar torches burn really hot and will light a fire super quick. You may not plan of camping overnight, but you never know. A large plastic tarp and 2 coils of paracord. Paracord and a plastic tarp will make several types of shelter tents. Lifesaver. And of course your preferred firearm. .357/.44 magnum, .45 auto, 10mm, take your pick. But pick one.
One year during deer hunting season, I go to my friend's cabin. Then one night (around 3 or 4 in the morning), I get my rifle and go out in the forest because anyone who hunts deer knows that you have to get to your spot early before the sun comes up. So I did just that. I'm sitting down on my spot, and a bunch of coyotes came and they circled me like they were hungry as fuck and wanted to eat me! It was dark and pitch-black outside, so I couldn't see the coyotes, but I saw their eyes. Not to mention they were also barking. So I radioed my friend's dad and I said, "Hey, I have about ten coyotes surrounding me! I am about to take one of them out to set an example!", and my friend's dad said, "You fucking shoot them, I shoot you!", and I was like, "Dammit!" So I'm sitting there so fucking scared, paranoid, and terrified. But nothing came of it, the coyotes went away.
I don't think you would say that if you seen what I have seen. The what if turns into what's in front of you isn't supposed to exist but its in front of you.
You express yourself very well I've read similar sentences things that shouldn't be in books if you wrote like that all the time I definitely read yours
7:37 but there IS a what IF…. A very very BIG what if!😰 have you not watched any trail cam videos 😳😰💩 there’s one called classified captures that i bet WE wouldn’t be going camping again 😰🤣♥️

Very cool
Good advice. Catastrophizing is my default response and this advice is ideal outside of the woods as well.
yup when you run, that 'Flight' Adrenalin kicks in, God bless and keep you safe!
You took a big break from the last one, tbh i would have never continue but good to see you're here again
