@@setro5582 Well as for a multirole player like me, Kagura is a bit easier cuz Selena requires you to have one particular skill and that is the ability to predict. For Kagura though, it's pretty easy to burst squishies once you know her combos. Also, Selena doesn't have a dash purify so it's harder to get out of fights with Selena than it is with Kagura. They are still not easy to use though and have high skill ceiling.
my best and most fav mage of all time. probably one of the most superior mage in the game that acts like an assassin with full kit. i just reached 200 matches with her and im so satisfied with the winning ranked matches i had with Kagura.

Kagura is great but I feel like after her revamp, she isn't as painful anymore and her combo takes some time to execute with the skill delays meaning someone can counter you with purify or a stun before you can do actual damage or escape after going in Edit: she's basically more of a poke mage now.

This isn't as much of an issue for mages like pharsa, lunox, yve, change, zhask etc., who can all clear waves and provide solid highground defense as well as having potential to farm by themselves. Even though it typically should not be the role of a mage to farm the waves, often times you just have to do it especially in soloq.
But since you mentioned about the comeback, I noticed that there is a low possibility of having a coming with this new kag, compared to the old one, a comeback is more likely to happen
I remember back in the day when kagura was so bullshitly considered OP that unbanning her on draft pick feels like sinning. Now with many new heroes with so many OP abilities, this umbrella mage feels docile. 😂

Also have you tried playing Kagura in Gold Lane? It is really good and all the times I played it I have like 2000 gold above the marksman in the enemy team.
I always use execute for kagura. she is my main mage now. She is totally an escape queen. But you need a LOT of patience when using her. I remember the fist 50 matches using her I totally go nuts and press any skill when I get nervous.

Because she has a lot of useful skills, you have to maximize all of them. It took me months to really master and make use of her skills efficiently.
Honestly the only thing I'm bad with Kagura is Getting the feel of her damage. Cause sometimes on early game I overestimate and Ofc from mid game I Underestimate it. But if I ever were to go full mage user I think I would get used it eventually. When I get Lightning Truncheon (my first item) I usually can kill mm's and assassin's with a full combo(just make sure you have around the same level) and fighters below 75% HP.

There's a new epidemic going around in mythic and up, and it's the sidelane fanny with execute. Literally oneshots your sidelaner. Ungankable too. No point in stealing blue as the fanny sidelane doesn't care about buff. And they always last pick so you can't counter it, better ban her right from the start.

Idk it felt uncomfortable to play her, that’s when I looked up and saw they changed her gameplay. I’ve had a hard time adjusting but it’s just another learning experience. As a Kaguara main who does play her fairly well (150+ matches 60+% WR, I play solo only), I have to say that unfortunately she's still pretty useless if you're teammates -to put it friendly- lack the neccessary skill and knowledge about the game and or/their heros, especially in ranks such as epic and legend. You can get a lot of kills and assists with her, no questions, but you can't push turrets as fast, can't clear jungle, can't do lord or turtle alone, etc. in the end it's all about teamwork with her, and if your teammates frankly suck, and enemy team has a good mm or assassin, smurf, who maybe also clears your jungle because none of your teammates wanted to be the jungler, then it's a GG.

she deals decent damage right from the start, has unlimited poking skills, bears good cc skills, acts like an assassin and a tank at the same time, has purify mechanism, and long range blinks. kagura have the full package and the things what you're looking for a hero. she's tricky though.

Kagura is a great mage. One of her biggest strengths she has is not only countering fanny but to be able to poke the enemies from a safe distance without getting in the enemy's crosshairs. I like to use a complete lifesteal build on her combined with that passive shield she gets so it makes her sustainability even greater.

You can get a lot of kills and assists with her, no questions, but you can't push turrets as fast, can't clear jungle, can't do lord or turtle alone, etc. in the end it's all about teamwork with her, and if your teammates frankly suck, and enemy team has a good mm or assassin, smurf, who maybe also clears your jungle because none of your teammates wanted to be the jungler, then it's a GG.
kagura is the most fun mage to play, once you master her you will get addicted to one shotting the enemies XD
Kagura is such a complex mage! She has slow, cc, burst, purify, blink, shield, almost everything you wants to have on a mage, she owns them!

@*ೃ༄ 𝓅ℯℴ𝓃𝓎°ೃ࿐ well yup it is true that your teammate and enemies plays a huge role to your gameplay bcs if you dont know your enemies that well then yoi cant counter them back. also yes kagura was still good and balanced before but for my experience the kagu right now is better bcs more smooth animation not like stiff like before plus more detailed.clothes. herskillls are basically just the same and shes still the same! her early dmg is still there, the pulling ult is still there but no strings but the slow is still there,overall i dont get why some "kagura mains" have a hard time with her.

Moontoon really should update her role as a Mage/Assassin since she easily fit that role. She has the mobility, the burst damage, and she can't be easily catched.

she deals decent damage right from the start, has unlimited poking skills, bears good cc skills, acts like an assassin and a tank at the same time, has purify mechanism, and long range blinks. kagura have the full package and the things what you're looking for a hero. she's tricky though.

Kagura is a great mage. One of her biggest strengths she has is not only countering fanny but to be able to poke the enemies from a safe distance without getting in the enemy's crosshairs. I like to use a complete lifesteal build on her combined with that passive shield she gets so it makes her sustainability even greater.
Kagura has been popular in The meta especially In the current Mpl pH Season 9 day 68/100 to ask Beto to Play Selena I'll never give up until I see his video about Selena 😔
