Actually worked at BB&B 1996-1998. Good fun and great times with the other people that worked there. Mall life was always a good job for teenagers. If I only knew then how effed up this world was slowly becoming. I miss those days so much.

Look at all the baggy pants. It's weird to think that the 40, 50, and 60 somethings were more in line with what is stylish now, because they were wearing less baggy pants, and the 20 somethings and teenagers would be way out of style today.

Awesome channel. Thanks for uploading these VR. Are a lot of these from that btm0815ma archive? I got in touch with the guy who uploaded the videos to the waybackmachine because I was so devastated by the termination of that channel I made a reddit post in a PS2 subreddit to find any evidence of his ps2 midnight launch video. I had no idea there was a continuation -- the one video you have where the one filming followed the couple home and interviewed them.

It was definitely a lot more mellow. obviously in some ways people never change, and obviously there could be rude/Karen type people in the '90s that I remember clearly. But closing my eyes and really thinking about specifically 1998, it was just duller, and I mean that in a kind way. Attitudes and personalities weren't as loud. Remember the Gore/Clinton election in '96? People were so subdued compared to now. There were no "Fuck Clinton" flags as you see with Biden today.

Interesting seeing the animal expert presenting animals at Rainforest Cafe. No way would you ever see that these days. Corporate slime are so concerned with profit first and customer last that they would never shell out a few extra dollars to hire an employee to physically have presentations kids and families could enjoy. They'd probably just have a video play on repeat. It's sad how impersonal and profit-driven the world has become.
