I've been using them for about the last 50 events I've done and they are awesome. (I run JBL PRX 615's) Best I've ever owned and I've owned them all..lol The only thing I'll say is get the bags and use them. The spline that locks the lift in place at height can be damaged (it's plastic) but they're taking care of it for me and I'm a total fan of this product. Thanks Arnoldo, good stuff.
So would you say these are better than the Ultimate Support TS-90B's? I own 4 of those and they have been great but this stand looks to be just as sturdy and is more compact.
How are they holding up? I’m looking into switching to lift assist stand. I’m a musician so I usually setup and teardown a lot, about 10 or more times a week.
Hi Good love you power con video but one thing you did not show was how you connect the next end _lh3.googleusercontent.com/_Kw8ItZVLL0yd5jytziIa7jn_jdxv6MkO-VR2LaM2ALWoIGHvYpfiDeXzU7_Uaf1hhH4NQN9yA_
Arnoldo, are the teeth on the upper shaft recessed? I often clamp a light on my speaker stands and was concerned the teeth may not allow this. Thanks for your help!
Great product and demo, Brother! More informative and useful even then the ones Gator themselves did on this! The only question/concern I have is price point. They seem high so...are we PAYING for the "Pretty"? I would be happy to give up a little of the aesthetics in order to save $100. Are there any other automatics you would recommend despite how light and good looking these are? Glad I found you and glad i subscribed!
tsmja i use the Frankenstands and I love them, too. But here's what you're paying for: Lightweight, compact but they go pretty damn high, well-made, and a Gator bag is included! Think about it- how much does a regular Gator bag cost? Around $99? There you go!
Arnoldo Offermann ..True! I just went to Mike Ryan's (a.k.a. Dr. Frankenstand") site and you can get the model for heavier speakers for $258 a pair, with his deluxe for $49. (Total of $307) The lowest price for the Gators I can find (so far) is $169.95 EACH ($339.90 a pair, case included) Hopefully they will come down when they have been out a while more or some dealer will have a sale. If you already own a case (which I DO NOT), the Frankenstands are the best value. My BACK says.."I don't care which ones you get, but do something FAST or I am outa here"! LOL!!
Arnoldo Offermann ..You are right again! The ONLY thing that (other than the price) is Frankenstands LIFETIME Warranty on the stand components and a full 10 YEARS on the hydraulics, as compared to Gator's 2 year warranty. If I am going to spend more, I wish they would equally back their product. I was just checking out your website and may be in touch with you regarding lighting design in the large- scale Catering Facility my wife is about to build out of an old factory. Keep up the great work.
@Arnoldo hey, do you know if these come with caps that fit on to of the pole where you sit the speaker on top of. I got mine in last week and they are awesome but I cut the crap out of my finger when I was mounting the speakers on them.
i bought a pair. they r too heavy and the inside bracket bar (on the leg) is flimsy and bends easily! not worth the money or the weight!! do not recommend! i have some pro line and they have lasted better then these!!
I love these stands. I use them for all my shows.
Same here!!!

+Sam Newby I MUCH prefer these!
How do you lower it after extending to the maximum height? I have one that is locked in place fully extended.
i really like them looking to purchase some! thanks for the video
Love them. Never an issue. Best investment. My back is happy. They are expensive but worth every cent
Hi. Your video is now a year old. is there now a newer and better stand you recommend? or are these still your favs?
Just bought two more!
Great review. Love them. Can't wait to get a pair . thanks
Thanks for watching!
Thank You..Helps me now to buy 2.
Looks intiguing. For added stability, I'd put a sandbag on one of the supports, to just be sure.
Why? Doesn’t need it

Where can I get the specific bag you demonstrate here?
+Rose Arthur Comes with the stands. :)
Lucky you! We didn't get any bag with our stands. Where did you buy yours?
It's supposed to come with it... where did you get yours?

+VTrpm Hmm.. I'd have to check. I think yes.
Are these the Gator Frameworks GFW-SPK-3000?
Thanks for the help
Very good review Arnoldo.
Have you tried to scrim these stands?
To be honest, I HATE scrimming stands.

Get the Gators!

They do not, but your finger shouldn't be anywhere near there, lol. Maybe call Gator and ask if they have caps?
When I was mounting them and trying to find the hole the speaker fell on my finger and pinched it. Hurt like hell but oh well😂
Hello, nice speaker stand. Can you do a review on this product? Konig & Meyer 21340 Crank-Up Speaker/Subwoofer Pole, thanks.

Tell us that they go for $350.00 a pair, not including the handy bag. :-(
+Jammin Dave They include the bag, and 350 is MAP.
Nice presentation...
