I laughed so hard 🤣🤣🤣 Funny fact is that I have this cat cave bed, exactly the same blue one with a yellow cushion. But none of my cats or foster cats (six already tried it) really liked it 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe they would prefer your version ! You did a great job and I really love your videos 😊
You are so crative🏆👏and so a good catfather🐈. I am a fan of you. And your little lovlely kitten has many fun with this "Alienegg" 😂🤣😂🤣. Why do you this away?😯 Sorry for my bad Englisch, I hope you understand what I mean. 🙈 I wish you many many followers ❣
thank you for watching! no worries!im also not good at English. im glad to hear about that. Kohaku is too fast to be big.its not suit size for her. and its too slow to be dry glue.it tooks 2 weeks. so when i gave her ,its too small.
Uhm, the cave wasn't really bad. Kohaku wanted to keep it as a convenient stair to her grey fluffy hammock! With a metal base and a cozy upholstery inside, that would have been better than the original.
thank you for watching! i was really surprised.before drying,it seemed good. i want make again, next time i will make more big one. coz she is already not small.
@@DIYCATVILLAGE I think if you only use one colour that will work better, as the dye in the wool can run the first few times it gets wet which is why it turned brown. Also you might want to let it dry in stages. You could try a papier-mâché base and then wool over the top, that way you won’t need as much wool and it will still be strong. Good luck
👏 A really great video! 😊👍 Such awesome Alien stop-motion at the end! The cave didn't go bad at all. It just looks organic. And most importantly: Kohaku was happy about it! 😺😍

@@DIYCATVILLAGE Kohaku likes the cave. Let her play with it as long as she still fits in and has fun with it. My cat will be 4 years old in a few months. In the beginning it fit in my hand. I can't even imagine that today. It happened so quickly.
sorry but 4 things i could spot before i even attempt it by watching few glimpses of your video. 1. Too small. my cat would never enter that. especially if it has a tiny single entrance/exit. 2. wobbly and not stable. unless its face down. no way. no treat would make her. 3. it must be rather delicate and flimsy. you didnt even use Paper to give it a bit more structure and i dont know, never done one of those craft experiments, just guessing this one. 4. not comfortable, the lack of light and extra smell from the glue and all, sensitive nose. i have bought and wasted several cat beds and they were soft fluffy n pretty and my precious, spoilt little furball will refuse to use unless it satisfied her. lol
This is so relatable. I saw the exact same cat bed and thought "That's way too expensive! I'll just make it myself!", and well... your result was better than mine!
In American history, Thomas Edison was dubbed by his teachers as being 'stupid'. He was fired from his first two jobs. He also made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts to make the lightbulb. When Edison was asked how it felt to fail 1,000 times, Edison responded that he did not fail, but he discovered 1,000 ways how not to make a lightbulb. Our own beloved Senator Robert Kennedy once said, "Only those who dare to fail greatly can achieve greatly." I love how you share your 'failures' with us as those provide us with a wonderful education, too. The only failure is when we stop trying. You are gifted with many talents. The only way to put your talents to work is to experiment. In the end, these 'failures' only strengthen your talents. This applies to all of us. We only fail when we stop trying, and when we give up. Thank you for sharing your wonderful, funny, educational, and entertaining videos. I love the sound effects, and visual effects you use. Kohaku is very full of spirit and is very much the explorer. I have enjoyed watching her grow. Thank you for saving her and thank you for enriching the lives of your cats and for providing them with the best life and all the love they need.
Alien II ! Get 'em Ripley!! Lol That was great 😆 The sound the balloon made when you popped it, sounded like a special effect straight out of the movie, too perfect 😂 You can use it as multipurpose cat equipment. A fun house for a kitten and as it grows it makes a great scratching post and pouncing toy. I love this design! She really seemed to enjoy it despite being too big for it.😁 If you decide to make another one, I recommend putting your yarn in a bowl of the glue, wind it around the balloon over the bowl, and set it on a shallow ring of aluminum foil. I'm an Alien and craft nerd lol🤓 Kohaku has the most unique eye placement, she's turning into a real beauty. I enjoy getting to watch her grow. Have a lovely day! 🌞
My cat LOVES anything that is too small for her to get in, so she would have loved that alien egg. I can picture her over-stuffing herself into it with various body parts hanging out of it. LOL I applaud your dedication and thank you for sharing all of your ideas. Since the first two of those movies are among my all time favorites, I am especially envious of your "Ripley in the loader" toy. I'm anxiously awaiting more DIY's and action figure stop action bonus scenes. Thank you!!

@@DIYCATVILLAGE It has been so long since I've seen any of those movies that I honestly don't recognize the last alien. I'm going to guess that he's the one from Alien 4: Resurrection..."The beautiful, beautiful butterfly." Am I right?
I might have done it in a really light colour, and done several thinner layers as opposed to just two thicker ones? And not soaked it completely like that, which caused some of the yarn to become too heavy and sag.
