My great Uncle Jerry was with General MacArthur to return to the Philippines to liberate it (he found a photo of them storming the beach in a book, there’s no mistaking it was him!) Unfortunately he was badly wounded and caught behind Japanese lines and he was almost killed (they didn’t take wounded POWs), but they thought he was already dead. He was extracted when the Americans pushed into his position. He got a Purple Heart and an honorable discharge. He didn’t talk much about what happened, and before he passed he had a bit of a mental decline (he once left his car running in the garage all night until it ran out of gas… thankfully the garage was separate from the house.) So most of what we learned came at his funeral when his son revealed that book and his military papers.

Something about that cat in the rubble made me sad. I can't imagine all the lost, homeless animals. Completely awful what Ukraine is going through as a whole💔
The horse has developed some type of psychological problems. Unfortunately, that happens often when you lock up an animal in a small space that has evolved to walk all day and be with other horses. The behavior is called a "stall vice". Other common ones are pacing in the stall, cribbing (biting the door or the bars), repetitive head movements, paving (when the horse appears to scratch the ground), aggressiveness (usually when people or other horses pass by the stall, can be anywhere between pinning ears to attacking), and many more (these behaviors also appear in zoo animals that are unhappy btw). This is stress and anxiety. It's incredibly sad to see that so many owners still continue stalling and giving excuses at the expense of a horse's mental and physical health (cribbing can damage teeth and legs are more likely to be stiff, swollen and hurt because of a lack of movement).
It’s so true. People always say “my horse is just like that” no, it’s because you’re forcing them to be in a stall and this is how they’re coping. It’s sad.

We've already done it to a few mice and some privet labs have shown that it can be done in many other animals effectively. But apparently it's an immoral and unethical thing to do to mess with "gods desire" by making making humans live longer. They say what about over population. Well if a person wants tk live for 200 years they just can have kids until they are like 140 or something. It's not hard. We could add chemical castration drugs to the same pills that let you live longer. So once you stop taking them you can have kids and grow old naturally.

He didn’t talk much about what happened, and before he passed he had a bit of a mental decline (he once left his car running in the garage all night until it ran out of gas… thankfully the garage was separate from the house.) Hi 👋 how are you doing?
*Damn.. didn't know it was that serious :0*
Too many words in this comment for me
And for this comment, I'll say thanks
It’s so true. People always say “my horse is just like that” no, it’s because you’re forcing them to be in a stall and this is how they’re coping. It’s sad.
That's a lot of words. Too bad I can't read
109 years old and well cared for. What a blessing.
only 109?
@@belgrader6858 i mean. ppl age differently
blessing? id call it a curse i personally wouldn't want to live past 90 at this point i would just be a huge burden on my family and honestly whats the point of living when im physically incapable of doing most things
Hes 1 elixir
he was over 120 i think. that is NOT what id call a blessing that's living hell
i hope the last girl and her family is fine ❤, bless them
“What do you think is wrong with this horse”
That’s basically how I act when im on my own
He honestly looks like he knows the secrets of the universe
What staring into the abyss does to a mfer
Doesn't know that many secrets, dude doesn't know how to eat properly. Looks like a skeleton.
He'd probably live to 150 with proper nutrition. 109 while starving yourself is still amazing, but end me if I look like a skeleton

I honestly admire people such as Lia (if i heard it right). Even tho she has to live in a bunker with her family, she somehow still manages to stay positive and cheerful during those times.
God bless her and her family
and for a phone, the footage is clean.
It's Lera, not Lia, Lera (Valeria) is much more common for Ukrainians. Her mom (?) also asked her why does she filming ahaha.
It looked cozy down there
Got a couple of friends over there and just as heartbreaking it is to sometimes chat with em it is heartwarming to see them still find some happiness in life.
@@Addwater4444 you must be trolling or living in a fake world. Is it even a reason to respond to you if you really believe that.
