    Would the vacume be the same as the d10s? Because i would rather have a regular docking station. Or am i better off with a roborock q7 max?

    I just now bought one of these on outlet. I live with 2 furry kitties which is me usually running around daily with a vacuum. now if this can map around my intricate small 50 isch km2 apartment and do some vacuuming and please god let it be a awesome way for my cats to get around the apt. i'll be happy. I dont mind taking some heavy cleaning with regular vacuum and bucket and mop, if i just don't have to manually vacuum everyday, im good. also thanks for the review! Will update what the catlords think of this machine xoxo meow

      I'm reviewing it now, releasing video soon. It's pretty great, but they didn't put a light on it, so it's not good at object avoidance at night. Dumb. Also, it's as good a mop as anything out there except the Roborock. Apparently scrubbing beats spinning. But not having to add detergent to the water is nice, and the detergent thing lasts a long time.

    I was looking at the Roborock S7 (w/o dustbin), but with the newer Dreame's, I have been second guessing. Pricing being similar, would you recommend the D10, Z10, or S7?

    • @MrRoombato
      @MrRoombato  2 года назад +5

      It depends if you want mopping. If you do, the S7. If not, D10+. The Z10 has laser based object avoidance and costs more, but the D10 cleans hard floors a tiny bit better and is less expensive, and otherwise the same. I'd get the D10.

    • @jody9324
      @jody9324 Год назад

      I had the same dilemma. I have just got the S7. But I am scared that it will be a hassle to empty its dustbin myself every time... Maybe having the self-emptying bin compensates a mediocre mopping in the everyday use...

      @@MrRoombato You are killing me here... Was set on the D7 but not fussed re the mopping, TBH the mopping features on these robots seem more hassle than a manual mop, and the D10+ is a lot cheaper. OTOH I like the bagless autoclean station for the D7 and it seems to tangle less (lot of long hair in our place). The decision paralysis is real :)

      Well it doesn't have or claim to have object avoidance, so that's to be expected. As for carpet...if you have a lot of it, this is the wrong robot for you. The only mop and vac that will work for you, I mean a real one not your typical wet pad dragger, is the Roborock s7 or s7 maxV. They can lift the mop and vacuum carpets, then lower it again on hard floors.

  • @yosoycubasi
    @yosoycubasi Год назад

    You said this robot is th one to buy.... that's misleading because when people buy these robots are due to vacuum and mopping qualities....so this robot failed the mopping test...m

    • @MrRoombato
      @MrRoombato  Год назад +4

      There are two kinds of mopping robots. Real mopping robots (S7, S7 MaxV, X1 OMNI, W10, etc.) and "mopping" robots, like this one. If it drags an unmoving pad behind it, it's not a mopping robot. As far as I'm concerned, these robots don't mop. There is no reason at all to use them for "mopping." So to me, these are robot vacuums only. The "mop" is a marketing gimmick. This is the best pure vacuum robot I've tested since the Z10, and considering its price, this is definitely the one to buy if you want a robot vacuum. If you want a mop or vac/mop combo, you'll need to spend a lot more money.
