    how is this compared to roborock s6?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  2 года назад +1

      Main difference is the DreameTech D10 offers a self emptying system, is slightly more powerful and have a little longer runtime. The S6 is quieter and can get the robot for less. The S6 also charges faster since it has an higher output dock.

      Yes the DreameTech d10 is better overall in my opinion. Lidar navigation is usuallbetter than camera based system and the d10 offers more app features and mapping capabilities.

    This one or Roomba I3+? Go!

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Год назад

      Well it depends on what features are most important. For messier homes aka a lot dirt the Roomba can go back to the dock automatically to empty out once it detects the dust bin is full. If you find your homes fairly clean, the Dreametech have the better navigation during to the lidar sensor.

    I bought an eufy g20 and it broke already after two months. I have one dog who sheds. The G20 did a great job before it broke.
    I was looking at the Amarey A90+. What would you recommend around the $300-400 range?

      @RobotMasters  2 года назад +1

      Hello here are my few personal favorites and found to have the best features, performance and reliability in this price category. For started the Dream D10 Plus amzn.to/3ABKEdU has all the high end features for less. The self emptying system works well and the navigation was very good. Also the cleaning abilities are very similar to the popular Roborock brand. A cheaper alternative is the Roborock S5 Max. This model been out for a few years but has been among the favorite for a lot people. amzn.to/3yTIm8Q
      Lastly the 360 models like the S7 amzn.to/3aoLjoo offers a lot bang for the buck. Offering a smart Lidar robot for around the $250 mark.

    Hey, I’m thinking of picking this up as a gift, but my friend is worried about it scratching up furniture. How does it compare to the roomba j7 and the roborock q5? Or the z10

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Год назад

      So the main difference is the obstacle avoidance technology across the different models mentioned. For example both the J7 and Z10 have a front facing camera to help avoid obstacles and recognize them. I would recommend those if you have a lot stuff laying on the ground. The Q5 is from Roborock as has been known for consistent performance and navigation. With that being said, it may be priced higher but is a good model. So from my experience if you keep the extractor bar cleaned often you shouldn’t have to worry about scratching of floors.

    • @jacksonmin2058
      @jacksonmin2058 Год назад

      @@RobotMasters thanks for the reply, some follow ups, it feels like his concern is more about furniture. Should the LiDAR protect it from hitting hard or scraping along the sides while turning?
      In terms of the q5 I heard mixed things about it’s auto empty bin. What’s your experience.
      Lastly, what about carpet cleaning performance? Just curious. I know roombas tend to do best right?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Год назад

      @@jacksonmin2058 So the Q5s self emptying system isn’t as powerful as the S7 MaxV Ultra, so if you have a lot dirt and debris I would recommend the S7 or S7 MaxV. The Q5s is a more budget friendly Roborock that offers self emptying. I would personally go with the S7 with self emptying. As for furniture it depends on what robot you get. Despite having similar sensors they may be more or less aggressive with furniture. I found the Roborock models, Ecovacs, and Neato to be the gentlest where as the Samsung, 360, and LG to be a little more aggressive. You could add keepout zones if you have delicate furniture. About the carpet performance all the robot’s I personally tested won’t out perform a traditional upright vacuum due to the lack of power. The ones that performed the best was the Robrock S7 MaxV, Samsung Powerbot, Neato and 360 S9. The Roomba did ok, but they make up in the ability to sense dirtier area and can focus on that spot.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  2 года назад

      Did you mean the w10? If so the self washing robot offers a good balance of vacuuming and mopping performance. It is more expensive than the d10 so take that into consideration if you just want a good vacuuming robot that mops than the d10 a better choice. If you find the convenience of a self washing mopping robot than the w10 is one of the best out there for the price.

    • @RobotMasters

      Yeah, unfortunately some cliff sensors are more sensitive and trip with dark or dark stripe style carpets. Roomba and Roborock are less prone to have this issue.
