I started my walk in the beautiful gardens of Oldway Mansion, located next to Torquay Road. It's interesting to think about the Singer family and their connection to the property, given their notoriety for the Singer Sewing Machine. However, it's sad to see how the mansion has fallen into disrepair due to neglect over the years.
