+Pete Marr Diggle was a scooterboy when Buzzcocks started and still considers himself a mod - much like the Jam were right into mod culture but blended into the pop punk sensibility of the time .
Interesting to see Steve using vintage H+H combos. I really wish the drummer would actually hit the kit with a bit of bollox and a solid back beat. Come on, once again, but this time with feeling, 1234........
I play what i think the song needs, Also if i played louder or harder it would have been unbalanced in relation to the guitar levels. If you want Dave Grohl or John Bonham you've come to the wrong place! Where people seem to have missed the point is that they think because Steve Diggle is associated with " Punk" that it means Everybody has to strike their drums and guitars with such force that they bleed! Ha ha ha That is a narrow minded opinion in the vast and varied world of song crafting! It's an immaturely minded drummer who thinks that everything should be ' LOUD' Don't get me wrong i love loud music just as much as quiet music , but I'm not going to be an Egomaniac and play like I'm the only person that exists in the band, that's a ridiculous approach to take and in the end you'll end up out of a job quicker than you can say ZED LEPPELIN! Some of my favorite songs don't even feature really heavy Drums (Charlie watts.. Ringo Starr). Glad to see there are still those innocent kid's living at home with mummy and daddy who keep these Fabulously outdated views alive and well! Rock on my friend!!
@@MrKevinhaze When the above comment came up I'd just been thinking how good the drumming was , crisp sounding and tight and not too heavy handed .I did a Google search and glad to see you are still drumming with Diggle in '22 !
Especially loved the drumming in this! Nice fills & patterns. Bit 60's ish, just what I like. Great live band sound too.
Great band Steve. Keep it going cobber. Frank and Cameron Diggle, Wollongong, Australia
Great stuff~!!! Really *really* good tunes !!! Thanks to Diggle, one of the true Modfathers ~!!!
+Terry Ellsworth Modfather? He is punk lol

A roller coaster couldn't slow down Steve Diggle-
Half the current Buzzcocks right here. I like all the FOC/ Diggle stuff. I wish hed just continued with it throwing in the odd Buzzcocks track.
SOUND REALLY GOOD! Yeahh!

@@MrKevinhaze You'd have been better off ignoring the comment instead of writing that thesis.
like paul weller but even worse. lol
Steve was great, Paul is slightly better but I would pay to see either.
Paul Weller wannabe ;)
Pete Marr Exactly, mate. He needs Pete Shelley. 🤔😏
Ironically Paul Weller liked the buzzcocks, who were going before the jam.
@@jamesy1955 Life goes on and Steve sounded great.
