if i use wilson ultra power rxt 105 recently, (because im new to tennis) and now want to buy little bit expensive racket, are the babolat pd similar than ultra power? because i like the vibration and swing on ultra power
I would just stick to the Ultra line unless you can demo the racquets and play with them before purchasing. The Pure Drive is a power racquet like the Ultra but it is also harder on the arm so that is always a concern
If they are old enough and strong enough to handle an adult racquet than I would look more at the Pure Aero Lite rather than the normal Pure Aero. The Drive is going to be a little bit more all-around style racquet whereas the Pure Aero will focus more on helping with spin. Either could work but I would still learn a bit more towards the Drive personally.
If you are getting the Pure Drive Team secondhand and it already comes with string inside it then I would probably get a new fresh set of string in the racquet. For a beginner / intermediate I would say a multifilament string like Head Velocity or Babolat Addixion would work just fine to make the racquet a little easier on your arm to help prevent tennis elbow since the racquet tends to be very stiff
Gotcha. If you haven't played with the racquet before then I would say to use the string that comes with it, which I am going to assume is a synthetic gut/nylon string, just to get a feeling for how the racquet plays. If you have had arm issues in the past or just want a string that is going to help prevent that, then the multifilament strings I mentioned in my earlier comment would do you just fine
hi, im beginner player, 45 years old, athletic, (5,57 ft or 170 cm, 63 kg or 138,8L) , I started to play tennis 8 moths ago, in my country I cant ask for a demo raquet. Im between clash100l v2 vs pure drive team. could you advice me? in your expertise, if I go to the pure drive , with tension is better? high or low?
Then, if you want a racquet that will offer more power I would go with the Pure Drive Team. If you want a racquet that is going to be easier on the arm, then I would go with the clash 100l v2 For tension it can change depending on the string. If you are using the racquet for the first time I typically start in the middle of the tension range. If you are wanting to use a polyester string though, I would drop the tension about 2-3 pounds and go from there
Really thanks , to take time to answer . 👍
Of course! Glad I could help

What about the pure aero for juniors

Looking to get the Pure Drive Team - would you recommend keeping the original strings or upgrading (if so to what)? I'm beginner / intermediate.

@@brodytaylor2020 it’s brand new, strung. Just unsure whether to upgrade the strings or not

Have you ever had any problems with your arm such as tennis-elbow or something like a shoulder surgery?
not , i didnt have any problem or surgery.
