There’s a bunch of softish shaped polys like Torolines: Wasabi, Toro(s), Snapper, Hyper G Soft, Lux Smart, Lux Adrenaline (+Soft) etc. While there’s a ton of really stiff round polys too: Lux 4G that you mentioned, Signum Pro, Lux ALU, Lux Big Banger, RS Lyon… Always check stiffness in TW University database especially if you have sensitive wrists, elbows and shoulders. And use lower tensions. Most popular strings also have Soft and Rough (textured) versions of them which are always softer, more powerful/spiny but provide less tension maintenance and durability. I’ve been a stringer for 20+ years ;)
What about hybrid setups (next video idea maybe?) My invention is polis in the main at 22 kg and multifilaments in the crosses at 26-28 kg, to achieve extreme snapback. When you blast a ball full power there's no feeling like it, sadly I only tested it in a 330g racket (Vcore Pro 97H) and tried it on a Blade but didn't have multis so I used synthetic gut, which didn't work because polis wouldn't glide on them.
I watched a podcast with a Pro stringer and he mentioned the misconception about shaped strings giving more spin which surprised me…He said basically shaped strings don’t move as much or as easily so whilst it feels like you’re getting more spin because of the friction feel, it’s actually only true and of benefit if you’re a strong enough hitter to distort the strings and get them to move…Ultimately his point I think was for your average recreational lower level player, they’ll probably get more spin out of round strings. I use Lynx Tour(Hexagonal 6 side) and just tried Restring ZERO for the first time and it’s really good so I could be switching as the ball pocketing feel was unreal
Hey Brody any chance you could make a racket customisation video. I have the speed Mp 2022 and I’m trying to add lead to make it more stable but I just can’t get it right. Whenever I put some on it feels like maneuverability just becomes too sluggish

Square are the best. They bite into the ball and slide without notching.

Try Babolat RPM Soft, surface of the string is failry slick and it's less prone to getting ripped to shreds by shaped polys in hybrid setups.
