A small and gruesome detail at the end: after getting dragged across the Earth, Goku Black was still in his Super Saiyan Rosè form. That means that he was still alive after that.
Just that extra level of brutal

Good news! Death Battle is going to return! We don't know all the details yet but Ben announced he was able to buy the brand and channel. They'll be running a fund raiser to support future episodes. It's already on their channel as an upcoming broadcast.
Also I think the Final Fantasy villain they had in mind when they kept making that comparasion was specifically Ultimecia from FF8. She has the power to manipulate time, and intends to compress all time to a single point so she's the only being that exists. Not sure how she intended to keep herself from getting terminally bored after that.

So I don't know if you two know this but play death battle is coming back what I mean by this is they were on a hiatus for a couple months because they were owned by the channel rooster teeth which currently shut down. Death battle is now going independent with a Kickstarter with different goals you guys should check it out or watch the announcement of it.

Zamasu as Goku Black did lots of horrible stuff in the future, but Reverse Flash is a thousand times way worse than him. This is the guy who survived and cheated death numerous times.
Not even Dr Manhattan himself couldn't kill him. While Black relied on the ring to make himself unkillable, while Reverse Flash already is a living paradox from the start.
The negative speed force basically protected him from the timestream, and thanks to Barry who created Flashpoint. Made Thawne a paradox.
I don't take Goku Black seriously as a villian, but Reverse Flash is an absolute monster of the entire DC Universe or better yet the multiverse itself.
It's funny that Beerus and the rest of the DB characters, didnt even thought about removing his time ring.

One of my Favorite Death Battle episodes, the voice acting (if you don't know the "it was Me Barry" meme they got that guy to voice Reverse Flash) the music(I can't wait for Reverse Rosé to come back) and the Final blow is So good, the death scream still gets me as he's being dragged around the world. Definitely the best Flash episode bringing the best qualities from both previous, the blinding Speed With Scale of the first Flash DB and the combat of the Second. And I like how they made it clear that both Black and Reverse Flash can kill each other, it all came down to who can put the other one down for good

12:08 well in the CW shows Eobard Thawne hatred for the flash is so strong it did break time and space since he was that determined to run Barry's life.
Fun fact the voice actor for Reverse Flash Valentine Stokes is the same guy who does the "it was me all along Barry" meme parody videos because he unironically does a really great Reverse-Flash voice he also voiced Ace in Ace vs Natsu and Ambrosius in RWBY who you haven't seen yet.

Just to clarify, dr.manhattan is def more powerful than Flash, but he couldn't erase reverse flash permanently due to him being a paradox. Kinda like how manhattan couldn't erase Superman bc he's an anchor for most, if not all, timelines, so he couldn't erase Superman due to that fact. So it just depends on what the situation is, other comic bros. lmk if I missed something or got something wrong 😊 i haven't brushed up on this in a while

While Goku Black's rundown was pretty scuffed in terms of pacing and jokes, Reverse Flash's was nearly perfect

So both summary can be summed up in 1 sentence, goku black is a paradox as long as he wears the time ring while reverse flash is a living paradox.

With how absolutely broken most of the DC and Marvel universes are its usually a safe bet to pick them over just about anything. Most of the time anyways. A big part of this is that nearly every character in each franchise has been around for decades and has been written by dozens of different writers each with their own ideas for exactly how capable the characters are.
They should really only have dc and marvel go against each other or other comic book characters 🤔

15:50 Speed Force is so broken, that, from what I understand, only a speedster can kill another speedster, even avatars if Death itself, couldn`t get them, so death created Black Flash. Again, Death couldn`t get speedsters and it created a speedster avatar for them. Plus Reverse Flash is even more broken, since he is a literal living paradox.
Reverse Flash, Goku Black, and Kendrick Lamar are the big three of hating.

You have to understand the Dragon Ball does not do a very good job of this in the dub. There is a distinct difference between immortal and invincible. Immortal means you’re ageless. The gods in Dragon Ball Z are inmortal but they can be killed health does supreme Kai of each universe is vulnerable to death.
The DC universe is completely different. The DC universe runs on both the Christian God as well as the Greek pantheon. Don’t ask me why it’s comics. Gods in DC universe are invincible and immortal. And the only thing that can defeat them are other gods when they’re invulnerability is somehow stricken from them.
All the descriptions of what DC characters can do ( including beating themselves in a race... ), is why I can't watch their stuff.... it's like a 6 yr old talking about how awesome he'd be if he could create his own powers ... or like Eric Cartman >.

Definitely look into Wally west flash. In my opinion he’s the only mortal who’s comparable to current Superman, the Superman who has no weaknesses or vulnerabilities, can make the equivalent of a susanoo, and has defeated the literal creator of the multiverse. Wally is faster and has the ability to be both everywhere and every when now.
that whole argument that "he wins cause he's a flash" feels icky to me, same as the "he wins cause he's superman" that just isn't an actual argument, I need real speed feats that puts him above Goku black

Hilarious how Zamasu vs Reverse Flash would be a immensely oppressive match up since RF has no way to kill Zamasu.
Although the result is pretty wrong. I mean yes taking the ring would get the job the done, except he isn't taking the ring.
Power - DB's universe is Infinite. This is clearly stated in the Daizenshu, so DC universe being 100 Trillion light years is pointless. Black scales 1000's of times above Goku who nearly destroyed the Macrocosm which is 5D as the afterlife is Higher dimensional again Daizenshu 7.
Speed - Black was keeping up with Goku who forced his way into the future. Which pretty much makes him equal to any Flash who isn't omnipresent. Once you hit the "Time traveling with sheer speed" quota, there isn't any room to get faster in the tier.
And the vibration thing shouldn't be a problem. DB characters beat up ghosts on the regular. They can touch intangible things.
The only problem is that Goku Black cannot kill RF unless he somehow learns Hakai.
The DC Univese is way bigger than Dragonball’s and also infinite so no you’re wrong there. Goku didn’t force his way into the future he just predict Hits movements and any way Reverse Flash has been able to actually move in stopped time and force himself through time. DB characters don’t beat Ghost on the regular there are barely any intangibles in the show and it works much differently than DB. RF can match the destruction of the multiverse ( which is infinite unlike DB’s who only has 12 universes) Goku Black couldn’t do anything like that off his own power he needed Zamasu to even effect the whole universe. Reverse Flash has also bested Teleportation while Goku and Goku Black don’t have a feat close to that In speed. Goku Black also can’t overcome RF’s paradox powers while the same isnt true the other way around

Goku explicitly moves when time is frozen. Consistent with a stronger character, Jiren being above time itself.
- Dc universe changes size every week. There are several statements of universe being finite in DC.
And no its not bigger than DB since the 4th dimension explicitly transcends the universes while Afterlife is in the universe of db. All 12 of those universes are 4D structures. So one universe trancends infinite 3D universes.
- Rf counter forced a universe, not the multiverse. That was Wally who was being amped by Speed force. That Wally would one shot RF.
- Zamasu leaked into all time lines. Which there are infinite of. As Trunks confirmed back in Z, timelines work on the branching theory.
Yes Black can't kill him. But again neither can RF.

- Jiren is specifically stated by Vados to surpass time and just walks through a spell that stops time for him.
- Power levels never fluctuated, ki control was established before you were born.
- It's a ring. Doesn't really spell out time machine. He has no experience dealing with Magic. Which Goku black should have since you know, he is a Kaioshin.
He should be able to use sealing spells too.
