I was not surprised to hear you say French blue. I read an article years ago that said that 66% of all people love blue. Not dark blue but the lighter blue’s. To me French blue is one of those perfect colors that is pretty much is a neutral as it goes with just about everything. Everything turned out great!

I have a really large planter that looks almost identical to that one! So pretty! I collect old mantle clocks..i have wooden ones and one ceramic one made in France. The dresser looks beautiful, you did a wonderful job. Sometimes I find those anniversary clocks that do not work. I use the dome as a cloche, I take apart the clock and use the base as the bottom of the cloche. I’m sure you already do that
the whole vignette looks lovely. my maternal gran had a dresser exactly like that. my paternal gran had an anniversary clock very similar to yours. it's nice to see things I remember when I was young.

Hi again. It's Miss Silver. I like silver with blues and mostly any shade of gray. I have a big ceramic pot like that one, only bigger. It has a crack on the bottom so I can't use it with any fluids. Right now it has a couple of rose bushes in water waiting to be planted. But I must find a purpose in the house for it.
I like silver too! I think these pots look better indoors. I have one more that's bigger and I'm just waiting to find a place for it in my house because you don't notice all the detail when it's outdoors
If your dressers are selling that fast it is ptobably not only the color but your prices. I have noticed that your prices you quoted in earlier video were low. You may want to bump them up a bit
Yes my prices are low but even some of my other low priced things will sit for a long time. I had people walking by and saying "wow that color is beautiful!" A couple times in the store so I think it's the color that's drawing people to them for sure.

The dresser looks like one of the lovely painted pieces in Mary Carol Garrity's Nell Hill decorating books. I also enjoyed today's background music (Vivaldi, in particular). So many videos have irritating background music (think Rebecca Robeson). Thank you for not doing that! Now, I noticed a small marble and gold pedestal table in your garage. I'm curious about how you'll upcycle that. That table looks like it could go in a spa bathroom!

FYI....the planter is not chinoiserie. It is a mid-century Chinese porcelain fishbowl planter. We have 2 of them, a large and a small, that are 50+ years old.

Even the flowers on the clock matched the ceramic pot that you used for the fern. BTW, what a great deal on that fern. It looks so real! I was thinking that the frame might look better gold, maybe, but when you put everything together, the green looked best. A gold frame would have been too much. I loved the music as well.
