Go Jet pilot is the type of person on VATSIM who clearly wants to pick a fight with controllers because they think they know it all just because they are a controller or have prior real-world experience. This Go Jet pilot violated A1 rule in a lot of different ways and if I was the controller, I'd wallop and use this video as evidence so some sort of investigation could happen.
The controller on the other hand, did a terrible job pointing out that the Envoy landed on the incorrect runway. Basically he said "you landed on the wrong runway, never do that ever again." That type of tone he used and the wording can be taken as rude and unprofessional which could potentially be an A1 violation. Instead he could use the "it appears you have done this, please do this." phraseology.
ex: "N12345 it appears you've entered LAX class B airspace, please exit immediately." in a more professional and safe tone.
A lot of bad VATSIMisms happening here and this is why the quality of VATSIM can sometimes be questionable.

That was the equivalent of asking "Do you know who I am?" Well ... no one cares buddy, it's all still play pretend so don't act like a little princess.

If he talks to virtual ATC like that, promise he talks to actual ATC like that. I would have asked him to take down a number and see how he responded to that, would have been hilarious.

Should have been .wallop'd for clogging up the frequency during an event. The controller gave 0 attitude about the callsign, he was just trying to clarify it.

This is sad. I understand getting 'serious' about this stuff. I flew a fair amount of VATSIM myself and have done lots of DCS as well and while it is fun to get serious about it this crap is not real life and not worth getting all upset over. People need to keep it in check.

I tried vatsim once, and havent been back. I have real world flight experience out of international air space, only mention to give reference. I posted that it was my first time on vatsim, but when I requested for IFR clearance the controller said it was posted electronically. I asked where that was, and he got super mouthy and belittling about it. That was a year ago and I havent been back since. I fly with AI atc now.

That's a huge red flag for me, because everyone in the network can see your real name. From my experience, some people take Vatsim way too serious (or take the anger out on you like the guy in the video), so why would I dox myself and give them my real name?
