This scene is actually a reference to Ode to Hirohito by Osamu Tezuka the father of Anime. It is almost a moment for moment replication, except played for comedy instead of tragedy. And with a snake woman of course. :)

@Tony Bocquet Blimp, that oil was on that already heated, hot sand for like 5 seconds after sitting in that boiling hot witch cauldron before she walked on it like she was the second coming of Jesus. Miss me with that. She lifted that tree sized log too. There are no logistics here.

I think this is a reference to "Ode to Kirihito" from Osamu Tezuka. One of the characters does this stunt and eventually dies the same way, when she falls for too long.
