2:02 fun fact, that is basically what happened with snakes and lizards to the point were snakes still have the DNA to grow legs, but it’s naturally turned off.
And you can see it in some snakes that mutated an got tiny legs due to the gene reactivating
so theoretically science would have a not too difficult time giving us cobra lizards or other assorted mouse eating noodle creatures that may actually be able to climb.
it may also be where the eastern dragon comes from when someone stumbled over one such mutant with their tiny legs.

@@lohcantfail dinosaur bones made the western dragons, but the eastern dragons were serpents and a dinosaur equivalent to those i haven't heard of yet.
@@Dostoron *rubs temples* your lack of imagination is unsettling. I'll explain, often when fossils are found, they're just bits and pieces, so finding a skull and some spine would work just fine for a myth of a giant serpent.

I don't recommend watching animes solely based on reviews. Some of my all time favorites have okay reviews, but I absolutely love them. What truly matters is what YOU think so try it out if the clips made you laugh. Jashin-chan Dropkick is not the absolute best comedy I've seen, but it made me laugh plenty of times and the characters are really good so it's a solid 8/10 overall.
Would be nice if they had the first season .....

Jashin chan is only Character that actually acts like what she’s supposed to be
Considering she had even hilarious moments in her childhood, and her distant relationship with her mother who works to supply water and food to hell, and the stress of living for thousands of years, anyone could be her, her poor decision making could hint at how bad her learning was 😆
I always assumed Jashin's lineage came from either the Naga or the Lamia.

it's not a healthy relationship dynamic at all and that's what makes it hilarious. consider that medusa was the one person _not laughing_ at persephone ii's joke and she's the one who got constricted. medusa is too pure for this world.

@@artnite2659 maybe, but you might find that it's well-balanced. watching only a scene from one episode does the series a disservice; i felt the same way seeing how yurine treated jashin-chan in the first season's premier. so i watched the rest and it got better. in season 1 there's an episode where medusa becomes 100% done with jashin-chan's bs and leaves, showing how much jashin-chan needs her. you might want to check out the first season to become more familiar with the characters.

This gonna sound complicated and weird and creepy to some people. Jashin-Chan and that Nure-Onna (in the painting) look like our creator goddess of the Human race from our mythology.
There is another snake monster that it is a shame is obscure enough that anime studios don't seem to know about it, the Enchanted Moira. Basically it looks like the fantasy version of a lamia, is a shape shifter,and has magic powers like an elf, basicaly snake elves.

Why is Medusa wearing Egyptian clothes instead of Greek?
Imagine expecting a comedy slice of life with monster girls to actually convey anything correctly, beyond basic japanese mythology and the quick google search that the creator bothered to do.
Good call. Greek and Egyptian cultures had some influence on one another, however. Particularly, the Greek had collonies on Egypt, so it could be inferred that Medusa is Egyptian with Greek roots or some equivalent.
