Hello, THANK YOU for this video, I've spent the last week on my Moto G Play trying to figure this out. Do you have a video on how to find & clear my clipboard?
I simply want to move all of my google photos to a sd card. I am out of Google photo storage and now it's messing up everything that has anything to do with Google. I can no longer receive gmail. I wish they simply had a select all button and I can simply transfer all my photos and videos to the SD card. Any suggestions?
Personally, I think it is worth it to pay for more storage. If you move your photos to an SD card, you still need to delete them from the cloud in order to recover storage space in your Google Account.
Thank you, my phone is frezzing and getting hot probably because it is getting full, I really aprecciate how you explained everything, I guess I have to download evry single photo fisrt but I know now what and how to do it!!!!!!! God bless you ma'am!! Can you answer my question. After I finsh will my phone be ok? it will function properlly? Thank you in advance.
Hello! I wanted to ask: once I move them to my sd card, can I delete the pictures from google photos or will that delete the sd card pictures? Let’s say it’s a picture of an apple on my Google photos and I successfully moved it to my sd card. Can I delete the apple picture from Google photos only and nothing happens to my sd card?
It depends. Google Photos is intended to delete all copies IF auto backup is on and IF Google PHotos has permissions. Test it first. You can be sure the SD card copy will not be deleted if you put it in a folder other than camera.
If the photos are only stored online, you can select and download them directly to an SD card. It will create a compressed zip file that will need to be extracted to see the photos.
But when you unzip that file they are not the same format they are .json files which are no longer an image or video file ? How do we avoid this ? Also how do you transfer a whole bunch of photos not just one by one, there is no "select all"
Hi, I was able to move one picture like you showed. However when I tried to move multi pictures I didn't have the option to do so. Not sure what's going on. I have a Samsung Galaxy A54. Trying to move my albums and pictures that didn't move when sd card was put in. SD card is brand new. Any help would be appreciated.
Not sure. I can select multiple pictures using Google Photos/Library/Camera view and 3-dots move to folder. Maybe try using the Samsung My Files app instead.
I have a moto revvlry that caused me this problem, but google wants control of your pictures also, made it hard to move to sd and wants you to download to they cloud, dont trust anyone especially google
You maintain control of your photos with Google Photos. They do use everyone's photos for their machine learning. Not all phones work exactly the same. The benefits for Google to us are worth any trust issues. Be careful with anything you post.

@@GeeksOnTour how about if I download all of my Google photos to my laptop and then put them on the SD card. Is that possible?

Glad it helped! I can't promise it will fix your phone's problem - there are so many factors - being full might not be the cause.
Thanks granma🥰🥰
You are so welcome, kid.

How do you move photos that are backed up to Google Photos in the cloud to the SD card?

Thanks, I'll look into that.
What if the folder says locked on it
It only lets me move photos on device to my sd cards. But I have Albums on my Google photos. It won't let me move any photos on the Albums to sd card
Yes, if the photo is not on the device, you need to first download it from Google Photos to the device.
Its not working I did everything in the video and Google says "trouble moving 1 item"
I would check that you have enough space on your SD card. I would also restart the phone, just for good measure.
@@GeeksOnTour thank you! I restarted my phone and now it's working fine. Sorry im dumb.
Update
always
Not my Samsung j8😢
It would be easier if all phones worked exactly the same way😉
🙂🥰👍

@@GeeksOnTourbe careful? What does that mean? Is that a warning of what Google will do to you if they don't like your opinion?
