What I fail to understand is, if this content has 108m views per month, that is SERIOUS potential advertising real estate. If Legit streamers offered the content on a free platform but with adverts, I'm sure most of the 108m viewers would stick around. But instead the big streamers prefer to spend millions on lawsuits and 'enforcement', rather than picking up that web traffic and monetising it...that to me is 'criminal'.....Irony is that Peacocktv, until recently, did offer certain shows free with adverts. I used to watch Peacock TV for old episodes of Miami Vice and Airwolf free with adverts, but just before Xmas 2022 they moved those shows behind the pay wall, so I switched off. I don't see why I should have to pay to watch old shows like that. It's just a blatant rip off.
Russian and Chinese versions of these sites will just open up and replace the ones closed down. I am guessing some legal issues in countries with higher standards.

One of the reasons given for RBG closing was the costs involved in providing the facilities needed and we all know how costs have gone up for hosting, power etc so there must be some of that in there. I assume the sites are funded somehow but, along with the noose tightening, I personally don't blame those involved in seeking a quieter (and safer) life.
They sure are making it easy for people to go elsewhere, shut down this shut down that eventually people will end up shutting them down with frustration.

The shows appear to be shortened because the 12-15 "missing" minutes are the time networks show ADS
& of course, these sites DON NOT show ads.
