I always loved Billy Joel's chord changes for this song. But it never felt quite full enough or complete enough to be a truly satisfying jazz piece. Thanks for showing a good path to respect the original while improvising and creating a beautiful solo piano rendition! Those long sequential runs are truly technically excellent! So crisp and everything is in the right rhythmic place.
At 3.09 the crescendo is absolutely awesome. I also adore the final . What a genius , so young and so gifted. Those who are able to attend his concerts, you're really lucky ! He also seems to be modest and natural, no star allures, that's a bonus.

Not at all. It is very good but a bit too rigid in places, although he loosens up as the piece progresses. I haven't hit dislike but neither is it to my taste. I have plenty of soul, thanks, and have seen many superb pianists over the years, including Billy Joel and Elio Pace.
