I just had my baby 3 days ago!!! She was born at 2:29am your videos have helped me so much in pregnancy and after! I was laboring at home for 22 hours before I went to the hospital when I finally was seen they immediately put me in a room and 15 minutes later she was born! It was crazy! I didn’t need stitches or anything and she is super strong and healthy already showing signs of 3 month mile stones!

I'm currently at week 22 of my first pregnancy, and have been seeing a pelvic floor physical therapist since week 10! They are incredible and have been so helpful in tackling each issue that develops during pregnancy, as well as the issues I had already like sciatica and pelvic floor dysfunction. Highly recommend to any pregnant woman!!

Excellent video! Very informative and relatable! I wanted to provide some feedback on the audio and it may just be my phone. I could hear Sarah very clearly but at several points couldn’t understand Kurt very well. It was almost like he was speaking in a hushed tone. Not sure if it was a mic problem or a problem with my phone’s audio or if he wasn’t projecting enough but wanted to let you all know just in case. Thank you for the helpful, informative content!

I am on my sixth child. 4th back to back pregnancy. Make sure your stretch out! That is what helps. My core luckily hasn't been to bad but my neck has been awful. So I have to do bird dogs. But wow my body has been through hell. I was 120 lbs 4 years ago and I am right now 165 lbs in my third trimester. I will probably gain 10 more lbs than 3 months post partum I will be back to 150 lbs. What a crazy time.

My SI joint pain is so bad that I am currently boohoo crying. It's always worse after I lay down for a bit. It's so bad that when I try to get up to walk, I am not even confident I can take a step. I finally broke down and took some Tylenol. I've been waiting to get in with PT for 6 weeks already! I work out at orange theory about 3-5 times weekly and the pain is not present during exercise, it comes after rest.

Any tips for rib pain? I’m at 32 weeks with my first and at certain times of the day my ribs are killing me to the point of almost being in tears! The only thing that has helped so far is stretching but it’s only a temporary fix (while I’m physically stretching) and my job requires me to be very active. My OB recommended a heating pad and warm baths but neither smooth the pain.

I had my SI joint get out of alignment around 20 weeks. I didn't know what was happening, but my toes started going numb, and then normal multiple times a day, regardless of what I was doing. Then it spread across the top of my foot, then up the side of my shin. Then my whole foot and half of my lower leg. By the time I talked to my ob about it I was fking terrified. It progressed from nothing to that in less than a month. The si joint pain started after I was getting numb up to my knee.
He sent me to a chiropractor to get my si joint adjusted and put back in place, and see if that helped. It did. It was amazing. I slept like a baby that night and got out of bed without any pain.
The si pain walking, rolling over, getting in and out of our truck did come back, but the numbness was gone. He gave me exercises and stretches to do to strengthen everything connected to that joint and adjusted me 2x a week til delivery.
He explained it as your body doesn't target the place the relaxin goes, so it goes everywhere. And sometimes one place will get looser than the others, your muscles feel that uneven ness, and the muscles around that joint will then try to clamp down extra hard because it feels that joint is unstable and thats the only way your body knows to keep itself safe. And a lot of that pain is from the muscles working so hard, and not being strong enough for what they're trying to do. In my case, the joint had wiggled just the tiniest bit out of alignment - not much, but enough to pinch or push on the nerves going down my leg and into my foot. And that pressure was what was causing the numbness. The adjustment that day got things lined back up, and the numbness stopped. The exercises and stretches was for the muscles trying to hold the wobbly joint in place and the pain was them not being strong enough. So the pain lasted til after birth because obviously I was getting more pregnant the whole time, so I was absolutely trying to play catch up on strengthening those muscles.
The chiropractor seriously saved my sanity and mobility the second half of my pregnancy. I'm planning on finding one for pregnancy 2 just in case.
I will say I never hear this talked about so I don't know how normal this is..? But the relaxin doesn't immediately dissappear after baby's born. Your joints take a while to go back to normal. For me it took a year. It honestly felt like my bones were being held together by little threads that could break at any moment, and it was scary and extremely unpleasant. It took a year before they felt normal again. I'm thinking I'm the outlier there. But I'm concerned about a repeat performance for the future siblings pregnancy

With my first pregnancy 6+ years ago, in the last 3 months I couldn't work or do much because of how severe my sciatica was. Now I'm 20 weeks with my second pregnancy and so far no sciatic pain but from 2 months in I have been dealing with round ligament pain. It's awful, and the further I get, the worse the pain is. It is constant, no matter what time of day or what I'm doing, the pain is there, on the left side of my pubic bone. It's excruciating. I cry myself to sleep because of it some nights. And my obgyn just said "it's going to get worse until after birth"
