Enjoyed your return to this series and social media! Hope you got the rest and relaxation you needed. Thank you for this swatching /zentangle vid. 🥰😃👍🏾💕🖖🏾
I am new to watercolor and love your swatch series as it creates a work of art while also allowing one to explore the colors that can be mixed. Thank you!
I can watch this a zillion times and never get tired of seeing this beautiful transformation of colors! You do have a soothing voice too, thank you for sharing your expertise. I bought the digis and hope to start swatching soon! You Rock!
First, I am a big fan. Your videos are always loaded with information and soothing. I am a COVID nurse survivor that is back at work. I lucked upon your channel. Everything you are reviewing is off the chart important. No I see how important to study your palette colors. Thank you
Glad you’re back and feeling better! The design is great and you’re absolutely right it makes swatching so much more interesting and satisfying ☺️. Love this layout!
Love this swatching idea ! and series. I have never completed swatch squares… incorporating ZT with swatching is genius. Ordered the Etschr books and look forward to creating drawings and color mixing. Thank you for these series, I’m learning so much about watercolor painting and improving my ZT skill / creativity design. You’re an excellent teacher.
You are so welcome, Linda and thank you so much for your order. It's all packed up and ready to ship. I truly appreciate you supporting my small business and new stamp line!
What's your take on them, Mariangela? Do you have a favorite brand for yellow ochre and do you find DS to be more transparent than the others? I don't have other paints to compare it to so I'm definitely curious. Thanks a bunch!
I absolutely love these swatch cards. I hope, hope, hope that you will continue this series as I use Daniel Smith, as well and love the zentangles that decorate these pages. I never really got into tangles until this series and now I’m practicing the ones on these cards so that I can make a swatch book like yours. Thanks so much for sharing. I’ve become a real fan!
I have almost NO creativity. Haven’t used watercolors since probably 4thgrade (I’m almost 69yo)....but your method of demonstrating how to blend was so interesting. I was able to follow what color you were using and how they all worked. Very informative video. Thank you.
I just stumbled on this video and I’m so glad I did! I’m not any good at drawing, not even zen tangles, but I’ve learned something for coloring stamped images. Now I understand why some colors don’t go well while others do. Thank you, Multi talented Amber!
I remember when I learned that little nugget and it has been priceless! While the formula hasn't been exactly foolproof for me, it's drastically reduced producing unintentional grays and I'm learning a lot too as I share these swatch videos. Thanks so much, Kathy. Don't give up on drawing or Zentangle, you can do it!
That's a cool way to swatch and learn your blends. Btw I got my mat yesterday--Love it so much! I wasn't in the mood to craft.. until the mat arrived! 😂
Hi Karla. I wasn't sure if you meant the ceramic palette or the watercolor pan palette, so I've added the link to the full list here. So sorry I had the wrong link under supplies in the description. I've updated that too. ldli.co/e/101qm1
Daniel Smith just was exposed for having hardly any gemstones in their primatek paints, it's a huge scandal and people are crying false advertising because it seems amethyst (for example) is mostly made up of normal pigment colours and MICA with a small amount of crushed amethyst stone, not only that....but they are not lightfast as claimed. People as well as myself have lost all trust in DS....and rightly so. It sucks because they were my favourite, but now I find out I'm not painting with mostly actual amethyst and the sparkles are "additives" such as MICA!! Another example is Amazonite was found to be mostly Viridian, but they charge an exorbitant price because there is SOME real Amazonite in it, but an UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT. How utterly deceptive

Love this series, Amber! You are motivating me to create a swatch book of my watercolors!
That's great to hear! Thanks so much, Maureen!
I love this series. They inspire me to dig out my watercolors and start swatching!
And I’m an ochre girl who has invested in all kinds I’d DS ochre so. What a pretty color it is.
What's your take on them, Mariangela? Do you have a favorite brand for yellow ochre and do you find DS to be more transparent than the others? I don't have other paints to compare it to so I'm definitely curious. Thanks a bunch!
You are so talented.

This was so helpful, Amber!! I totally need to do this! I can't stand getting a surprise gray!!
Thanks, Enna! I love a good gray moment, but a surprise gray is the worst!
That's a cool way to swatch and learn your blends. Btw I got my mat yesterday--Love it so much! I wasn't in the mood to craft.. until the mat arrived! 😂
Thanks, Mary! That’s how I feel too. Just makes me want to create things. Thanks so much, Mary!!
Hi Amber, do you intend to turn the Phthalo Turquoise into a digital stamp as well? That would be Great!
Hi Amber, love your channel. May I ask where you found that palette?
Hi Karla. I wasn't sure if you meant the ceramic palette or the watercolor pan palette, so I've added the link to the full list here. So sorry I had the wrong link under supplies in the description. I've updated that too. ldli.co/e/101qm1
Your coloring style is so lovely and your hand is much careful in that.

Oh, I haven't heard this before. I'll have to do some research on the subject. Thanks for watching.
