    Immediately tried... It's amazing and very tasty.... Thank you so much. My father is diabetic and we can't give him wheat or rice dosa.... Only jawar, bajra and ragi we have to give. My father loved this dosa with green chutney

    Wont the bacteria in thre curd be destroyed while heating. Any other healthy ingredient.

      One should not cook curd( according to Ayurveda), I don't think there is any alternative available for curd. Just add water in it. For enhanced taste you can use suji.

      @@nikitakurle2520 i know. Read abt it in ayurveda. So i thought why not use paneer. Cos maybe it does not have culture in it. Btw curd is diff from yoghurt. People use the term randomly. Yur thoughts on the paneer. Cos anyway paneer is cooked dish.

      While making Kadi or more kuzhambu also we heat curd. We should not heat plain curd

    Mam.. I use to make Jowar roti after seeing ur receipe.. In that, u have mentioned that Jowar needs to be added to boiling water , rest, knead and make roti... But here with normal temp water.. Could you plz tell me the difference and the use of adding it to boiling water...

      Jowar does. Not have gluten ..adding boiling water makes it pliable and.roll like roti

      1. If jowri flour is fresh less than 7days old, you can use normal water to kned, it wont break.
      2. If jowari flour is older, adding hot water to knead helps binding.
      -- better to add warm water, it helps to knead properly. Makes & keeps bhakris sift

    Dosa is prounounced as dosa or dosai, not Dhosha! Correct Ur prounciation coz Dhosha means altogether a different thing.

      Samantha, before you teach someone, please educate yourself first. Just as dosa is dosai in Tamil, dosa is dosha in Malayalam. And don't forget that dosai or dosha is a south Indian dish. So don't teach south Indians how to pronounce their dish. FYI, Dosa is the English/non southindian version of dosai or dosha .

    Hi Ma'am
    When we use the whole grain we usually soak it to reduce the phytic acid content (since this causes bloating, gas etc).
    Doesn't that apply to the flour as well ?, especially the instant version.
    I asked this because I observed that I felt bloated and developed gas on the days I consumed instant dosa/ cheela made from gluten free grain/seed flour. But it is not the case when I pre soak or ferment.
    Please clarify

    I tried it on my cast iron tawa but couldn't remove it so switched over to non stick tawa.
