These travel vlogs & community trips are so nice. They look like a lot of fun. Makes for a great series with yourself & other friends creators. This shows how willing you are to go experience knew things, positive connections & travel even though you get anxiety, but you did them anyway.
I think I was the oldest one there lol (54), and I couldn’t have felt more welcome! Sam and Angie are not just how they seem online but even better. I was reminded of a life I used to live and realized that I can still be that person I had said goodbye to so many years ago. I made some amazing new friends, and if you are undecided about doing one of these trips, I say go for it!!! ❤ you Sam!! 😘
That's awesome! It's true what they say- 40 is the new 20!!! (I'm 43 so I'm right there with you- I call it my "F it 40s" bc you stop caring so much about what others think and get to embrace who you really are and what truly makes you happy) Get that nursing degree and kick some medical booty!! ❤

Hi Samantha, what ever you do these are very important years. When you are in your 30’s you are now knowing yourself better. Your 40’s will be even better because of your hard work and finally accepting yourself, your success and failures. What ever you do don’t look back and waste your time vacilating about what was or could have been. We are here. Future is forward with so much love and happiness. Open up that space so these wonderful blessings can come in. I’m 75yrs and a few months ago I lost my husband of 40 years. It’s dam hard but I do not dwell on being unhappy and trust me it would be easy to live in the past. I’ve had to establish a new rhythm for myself. Luckily I’ve always had exercise, trading stocks and good nutrition. These have become invaluable now. Thought I am not interested in marriage I am looking forward to a lot of traveling, going out with friend or alone and see what life has for my third act. We have many acts in our lives, enjoy them all❤

I didn't know how inferior our chocolate was until I lived in The Netherlands and WOW! There are some American premium brands of specialty small batch chocolate that come close, but that Dutch chocolate just hit different. Same goes for Swedish, Swiss, German, Belgian...it's all so much better! I go to specialty import stores for a chocolate fix now. Wait- Sam, did you call Leia "Layla?" 😂😂😂 You really need to read the guide!! Love to both of you awesome women, so glad you had such a wonderful event. I turned 50 this year and I had so many years in my life that I feel were wasted and I never lived for me. I too am starting over. I so hope to be able to join you and Angie one day! Honestly I’m less than 2 hrs from Austin, I wish I had known in time. I dream of traveling, it’s the thing I gave up on years ago but I’m going to Hawaii next month and my youngest daughter is 17 now, so I pray to have many more trips in my future! It looked so fun, and I’m so happy you push Thru despite the anxiety!
