Thanks for this really comprehensive review Steve! I should be getting mine in a month :) Quick question: any thoughts or words of wisdom on whether to get the model A or B triple/quad. I do have a bunch of horns, so I’m tempted to get the B. But the A is lighter and more compact. Did you find it significantly easier to carry around? Thanks so much!
If you don’t need to carry two full size trumpets on one side, then the smaller is fine. But you cannot fit a Bb plus a c on the same side. Or Eb and c on the same side. I have one setup with two Bb’s and a flugel. And the other with piccolo and eb on one side, Bb and c on the other. It’s slightly heavier because I’m carrying more stands in the bells. Plus mouthpieces. It just depends on your needs. But the bigger one is only slightly bigger. Not way bigger.
