I have platinum blonde hair and this “yellow banding” happened to me as well. This is because you didn’t leave the bleach in for long enough. I would suggest going back in with 20 developer+bleach.. and lighten till it becomes a pale yellow (like the inside of a banana peel) then go ahead with your toner (t18). It worked so well for me
Doesn’t look too bad, But there’s no need to keep Re Bleaching all over, you should’ve only done your roots with 30 cover it up with a plastic cap, & Add Olaplex. For the toner you should only really do the roots for 5 minutes & the rest of the hair for another couple of minutes, so you won’t get that purple-lish look.. hope that helps you.
Girl as a proffessional hair stylist I want to say you did pretty good!! Next time do like a 7vol at the new growth for 20 mins and out a cap on NO HEAT!! if you need more lighting then use 10 for another 20 min! With cap
...On the colour wheel, the opposite of yellow is purple and you got both my dear; don’t fret, purple toner shall fade as you wash; can we talk developer mon Cherie - you will agree 40 vol is damaging and you applied it to previously bleached hair: X-Nay; since you use 30 vol. next bleaching session (don’t leave it past 6 weeks); go in with 30 vol, start at the back first...leave on for approx. 50 to 60 min (be sharp to get bleach applied quickly as possible); your T18 Toner with 20 vol. for 30 min. Lifts 2 levels which would refresh previously bleached hair (start at roots first, last 10 min. bring in through ends); in order to maintain your platinum locks, may I suggest using once a week, Fanola No Yellow and Fanola No Orange Shampoos along with the Fanola Mask ...
I was thinking the same she made a lot of mistakes here, not using the right developer and not leaving it on long enough and she overlapping which is why she is getting so much damage
I was born with black hair but I identify as a blonde. Ppl don’t understand the blonde struggle. Especially when ur hair won’t budge from the brass level ..blonde problems.
Love your video girl..Just in case u do want to go back to blond in future.I suggest using foils in thin slices of hair and a better hydrating bleach like Wella Blondor,Goldwell oxycure,Guytang my dentity, blond me bleach. You can order them online but if u want somehting locally or cheaper i recommend Ion creme lightener at sallys..And the same brand developer is better because it has more hydrating ingredients and doesnt dry out the bleach that could cause bleach to stop working.Third thing that could help is reapplying the bleach after 30 or 40 minutes meanwhile bleach is still on but being carefull not to relaping to already bleached hair. That could get u platinum in the first try...Try doing it in parts like the first two parts in front and wash it off once its done and then do the back part and then wash it off after its done and then tone..it prevents breakage
If you wouldn't use 40 your hair wouldn't burn out. Also seems like you added way too much developer judging by you saying "it's way to liquidy to control".

It does! I’ll keep that in mind next time IF there’s a next time 😂 💀
Yeah I usually just do a bleach bath with Olaplex purple shampoo on my ends to neutralize any brassiness between colorings. Much healthier.

girl I tried this many times and my hair was messed up ..going to a salon is the best decision I made for my hair
Right! I’m probably gonna end up doing that soon 😞 but I need a treatment first. I just bought hella olaplex product. Hoping for the best! 💀 😭
I'm actually glad you posted this video, thank you.
nobody should EVER use 40,, at home you should never be doing your roots at the same time as the lengths anyway

Hey thanks so much for your advice... I will keep it mind :)
Your video is so simple and the comments left about going back in with 20 volume is chefs kiss
Girl you are just insanely beautiful.
FOLKS PLEASE DONT DO WHAT SHE DID!!! 😅😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

My hair is the same level as here and to get pale yellow I use 30 volume developer with crème bleach(cuz I’m a baby) and leave that on for 1 hour !
Ooof girl I feel your pain. I have hits and misses too. . . platinum is hard.
Yesssss the drugged is no jokeeeee! 💀 😭

HAHAHA! What a joke of an APPLICATION!!!
Why didn’t you just leave the bleach in the roots instead of reapplying like an idiot 3 times.
Terrible video and advice 😬
No... Your roots are banana 🍌...
