how do you avoid orange? like black to orange to blonde. every time i do my (grown out like an inch or more) roots with blondeme 20vol it's orange so i have to do it twice
Try using a 30 volume developer but keep in mind a 30 volume is more damaging than a 20 volume developer. Never use a 40 volume developer and never leave a lightner ( bleach ) on longer than 60 minutes. Bleach stops working when it dries out. Put in enough developer into the bleach so that the consistency is like cake batter. If it is still orange after using 30 volumes developer then it is best to just wash your hair and doing it again but only the orange part if the rest of the hair is the level of blond that you want with and lower volume developer like 20 volume if it is still very orange . If it is a light orange use a 10 volume developer and remove the bleach as soon as there is no longer any orange which might be 10 minutes or 30 minutes to 1 hour. You must learn about color levels and color tones which is easy to do. There are numerous channels that can teach you about those. A very good channel to learn about bleaching is 'Beauty , Health, Travel' channel , it is a 'Beauty College ' in LA. Put in 'Beauty, Health , Travel ' channel , /color levels . If you have reached the lever of blond that you want like a lever 7 then you pick a level 7 blond toner. If you have reached a lever 8 blond and that is the level you want then you pick a level 8 blond toner. If you want a level 10 toner then then you must bleach your hair to the color of the inside of a banana. That will give you a platinum blond. The number on the box is the color level that it is followed by the color hue such as golden blond for instance. A good thing to have to help prevent damage is 'Olaplex' but you must be a Hairdresser, to buy it. I hope this helps.
@@starlite556 the method that works for me now if ur curious is I still use 20 vol, I just leave it on for around an hour and a half. max i've done is an hour and 50 min. i don't reapply throughout that time, I just apply it once and it doesn't dry out under my plastic hair wrap :) I don't experience that much breakage and a lot of professionals told me leaving it on for this long is better than washing it out and putting a new set of bleach on. my bleached hair is a level 9-10 but it's super super healthy from k18 so it can handle it.
