I like the side by side shooting comparison you did - I just got my rhino and am loving it but seeing the Glock and rhino side by side really puts into perspective the difference in recoil the Chiappa provides, revolutionary design - nice video!
I enjoyed this review more than most of the big gun channel reviews. The format of making an observation about the gun then cutting to a live fire demonstration to qualify it, also not a lot of overproduction or stupid long intro. I think the side by side muzzle flip comparison might be the only good reason for slow-mo firing footage. Well done!
good video, great slo mo shots, I have the Rhino 200D and its my favorite winter carry pistols in my rotation. I love the 357 round , its so smooth and very easy to shoot compared to my other 357's
I have the same gun and love mine! I also have the Glock 20 and Glock 29...I carry my G29 everyday , but still manage to carry the Rhino 200ds often too!
Hey man, I just bought this gun. Was originally going to buy an SP101, but decided to spend alittle extra money on this instead for a reliable and comfortable CC.
Cool video bro. Didnt expect to see a new vid about a Chiappa 200ds lol I purchased one a couple weeks ago but have yet to fire it. I like the recoil comparison too. Very nice addition!
Thanks! Yeah, never thought I would make a video about this firearm. I wanted one the many years ago when it first was introduced. I was looking at a Glock 20 and the Rhino 30DS but I saw the 2" and end of story. You will definitely enjoy shooting it no doubt!
Haters gonna HATE😐 I ABSOLUTELY L-O-V-E My 'Rhino' 200D .357 Magnum (Baby Rhino)👍🏻 Especially for the Rhino's *Uniqueness*, I made 'Them' (I Also have the 4 inch BIG Bruh) Both a part of my Arsenal 🦏💥💥💥💥💥💥🔫🫦👀 Plus, I enjoy going 'AGAINST' the Grain when it comes to Whatever I bring into my World😎👊🏻
Yes it is very loud! Check Bud's Guns, they offer a model, that includes both 9mm and 357 barrels you can swap out. There is also a 40 cal version. The 9mm is getting hard to find so you have to get on the list and be ready to grab it once available.
The only pain you get when firing the Rhino is in your ears and everyone around you! I have an S&W 380 and after two magazines, my hand feels like I've been hammering concrete. I will say this If you shoot a lot of 158 -180gn. 357 rounds, make sure to check the tension on the frame hex bolts and screws.
My 40 caliber Rhino is a piece of crap, now getting repair for the second time at SFRC here in Canada ( the only authorized repair station ) for firing pin issues. The firearm was over 1700.00 was used maybe 35 times before it started having Firing pin issues and finally not making enough contact to barely dent a primer. After over a year (the first time) waiting for repairs and parts to come from Italy it came back with the very same issues ( some repair?). The Second time it was mailed back to SFRC in late September it's still there January 16, 2023 waiting for parts. Maybe it's the 40 caliber that is having the issues - but all I can say it's been the worst firearms purchase I have ever made. Tried three times to contact the manufacture NO REPLY, not even an acknowledgement. Nice one Chiappa real professional NOT!!!
I haven't done any research and I don't have a chronograph. However, I'm sure a 180 gn bullet weight will have enough muzzle energy to crunch a few bones at 20 feet, and If the bite don't get you, the bark will make you tuck tail.
@@dlat69 even light loads out of a 2 inch barrel are only getting about 950 fps. And when I say light, I am talking 125gr ish territory. You would have to make a 180gr super hot to get the same muzzle energy as even 115gr winchester white box 9mm.
@@Catgat37 That may be true my man, but I'm not going down that rabbit hole. The video was only intended to show a comparison in regards to recoil and accuracy and was not meant to play a pivotal role to establish the superiority of one over the other.

I've had my Rhino for about 3 years now and I'm still in love with it.

Yes that was a unique perspective I don’t think I’ve seen like that before . Good stuff
Mine is 5 years old now, Five Star Firearms in Zion Illinois makes great speed loaders for the Rhino.

I've had one since 2012. I like it a lot. .357 Magnum, as you know, is wonderfully manageable. But .38 Special fires like a dream.
Yes sir! I started reloading 38s and 357 early last year as they were getting difficult to find.
The stainless sure looks good. I bought the black more common one for my wife.

@@nativeson756 I need to get that 4 inch white I can! I like the nickel finish but thinking the black.
Always wanted one, hard to find.
I’ve got the 6in and completely fell in love with it. Looking to get the 2in now for a back up ccw
The 2in is an excellent choice for CCW.
Same here! Have a 60DS in 9mm and love it. Picking up a 200DS in 357 this weekend. Can’t wait.
Really cool gun man! How much did you pay for it?
Thanks.
I got it from Buds. At that time I purchased it new right under a grand.
very nice
Do they make these in 9MM? I've herd the 357 with 2in barrel will blow your ear drums out.

9mm
40 S&W
357/38
dude if I shot 200 rounds of 357 out of my 2" K6S I would have a broken hand.
you just sold me on the rhino

Remember when Kimber came out with the K6s...a gun with no innovation whatsoever. This is what they should have put out....

I am familiar with the .40 cal 4'inch Rhino, but not sure of its popularity.
At this point though, you are getting less velocity than a micro 9
