So dissapointed about this... Cause it looks axactly the same the only difference is new character, new weapons, new maps. Even the ai and npc dialogues are the same :(.Still cant wait though...😅

Lots of similarities, the story is a bit secretive. After year's of watching the comedy Allo Allo and seeing gestapo. Will we get to see the picture of the Fallen Madonna with the big boobies? 😂 Can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this game.
@DazAction it overshadowed the original tv series, a serious drama. Secret Service, this was a great drama, but I didn't see the whole series. Allo Allo upset Secret Secret producers with making fun of their drama. But Allo Allo was very popular.
Well it was Tommy playing, so it might have been the easiest. I kid, I think he would have done higher than that. But he did really well regardless. Think he said it's his best playthrough so far.
Problem is this should have been a DLC and instead its just a small handfull of missions they want us to pay full fare for. This is just a cash grab (sigh).

I hope it's designed better than 5. I think the reason I didn't like 5 was the missions seemed more action oriented than sniper. Just busy and clumped together. I love Sniper Elite so it was a bummer when I couldn't get into 5.
I read a lot of people complaining it looks the same. It's still France, what do you think it'll look like, Egypt? It's also only an early demo so things will change. It has also only been 2 years and no one was expecting a new Sniper Elite game next year. Rebellion were supposed to release SE5 a year before but because of lockdown, it wasn't completed. But in that time, they made far too much content for SE5. With a bit of polish and some lateral thinking as to why the story was still in France, They decided to make this. They had the maps and the photogrammetry for France, so why not use it? The people who complained about SE5 are the same people saying "just release it as DLC". The game engine will have been changed as it's always evolving between games so just releasing this as a DLC would have the same issues that you complained about before. Ultimately, we'll have to just trust Rebellion and guess what? If you don't like it, don't buy it. No one is forcing you.
@@j.lebowski2364 since I don't have a crystal ball to look into the future, only Rebellion knows. However, the DLC for SE5 cost the same as SE5 but you only got 60% of the missions compared to the game. So DLCs were more expensive per mission. Therefore, if there's 8 missions, it's a game.
Well, Sniper Elite is one of my favorite series, but from this gameplay demo, it looks like the series is starting to iterate without a solid reason to do so. But then we're seeing this from a lot of devs lately.
I think the gameplay mechanics will be very similar. They may add 1 or 2 new things, but I wouldn't know for sure. I would like it to add the difficulty of Sniper Elite 4 though. I want more challenging gameplay.

Nothing special looks the same as SE5 thou the inside of building a looks downgraded the level design looks like they take a lead from SE4 watch is better Se4 is peek in the franchise but like 5 not alot of enemies so the map looks dead I'm a little disappointed as I was with S5 with this reveal. need to now more on mechanics AI level design
Those crosses are Balkenkreuz and were used by the German air force. In the released game, these will be swastikas. The reason they change them in the demos is because it would be blocked in Germany if they didn't.

As long as the gameplay is good, I'm fine with it looking exactly like Sniper Elite 5. I just want a higher difficulty level above Authentic.
I´am not disappointed. SE5 was very good. The only thing: I wish they would make better maps like SE4
