i dont really have a joke for this one, but i do ask for everyone to remember how the poles didnt immidiately surrender or flee, they’re soldiers fought valiently in defending multiple areas, and so, they deserve rememberance.

In 1939 Poland lasted longer against two superpowers than France against one. In the battle for Wizna 700 soldiers held off for 3 days against Heinz Guderian's army numbering 42 000. During the Second World War Poland lost 22.2% of population, which is the highest percentage among all nations. Warsaw was literally wiped off the face of the earth by German sappers after the fall of the Warsaw Uprising, where in addition to 25 000 Home Army soldiers killed in action, 200 000 civilians, mostly women and children were raped and murdered in all brutal ways by raging German and Ukrainian SS divisions. If you were Polish soldier/partisan who fought Germans in the years 1939-1944, you were most likely to be executed afterwards by Soviets who considered pro-West Polish underground as the enemy. The last soldier of the Polish underground, Seargant Józef Franczak was shot in raid by Soviet secret service in 1963, almost 20 years after the end of the war.

@@Str4ppzz More like 6 weeks in regular war. And after that for a much more years (ever heard of Polish Armed Forces in France and then Britain, or Polish Army on eastern front?), last anti-communist soldier was killed in 1963.

I just re enacted the fall of Poland on call of war, I held firm for four days, At 11:37 Wednesday morning German troops entered Warsaw, I sent out the last message and made some people recognize what I did, POLAND HAS NOT YET PERISHED! LONG LIVE FOR POLSKA!

Very nice but you got one thing wrong that song is not about Germans entering warsaw but about the uprising of the people of Warsaw.During the Warsaw Uprising, 150,000 to 200,000 Poles may have died, including only 16,000 of them soldiers.
