Hey everyone! Join me today as I watch Ted for the first time today and laugh every second!
Ted is a 2012 American comedy film directed by Seth MacFarlane in his directorial debut and written by MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin, and Wellesley Wild. The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis, with Joel McHale and Giovanni Ribisi in supporting roles, and MacFarlane providing the voice and motion capture of the title character. The film tells the story of John Bennett, a Boston native whose childhood wish brings his teddy bear friend Ted to life. However, in adulthood, Ted prevents John and his girlfriend Lori Collins from moving on with their lives as he loves his owner lots and lots.

Seth Macfarlane is just a master of voices. If you put Ted and Stewie Griffin in the same room without context, you wouldn’t think they’re the same person
Ted is closer in voice to Peter, but there is a difference.
But Stewie would probably treat him like Rupert.until Ted starts speaking, then he’ll probably think that it’s Brian is disguise.

This was Seth MacFarlane's first and only movie to be nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars.
Sort of a weird fact, when I was 11,I saw this movie in my moms room and decided to watch it in my room thinking it was a funny movie I could watch. *I was very wrong but enjoyed it any way*
I love TED, it's one of Seth Macfarlane's greatest films imo! i especially love that Seth used his Peter Griffin voice for Ted it fits the character so well while at same time not making him sound too much like Peter.

Ted is one of the best movies I've ever seen.
It's a stupid comedy, but it's a movie that talks about growing up, about the fear of growing up and that the right girl will accept you as you are
John and Ted went through a process of growing up in this movie and realized that they could also manage alone outside, but in the heart they were best friends forever.
I absolutely love Ted, it's one of the funniest films I've ever watched and it was pleasure to rewatch and laugh with this film with you Cody! Loved your reaction!

Ted is hilarious. I remember watching the movie in theaters back in 2012. It was so funny. Seth MacFarlane is so talented. The jokes were nailed and even if it is not perfect, I think it is like a guilty pleasure for me sometimes. :D
What’s really funny about you is that this is my first time watching you reacting to an adult movie because most of the time I see you reacting is the kid movies so this is the first time I’m seeing you watching this

The ginger kid insulting John while being beat up was a solid opening joke but when the "Apache Helicopter" bit started me and my friends were already rolling with laughter...at that point we knew "this is gonna be amazing"
One of the best comedy movies of the past decade for sure
I really dig this movie not it’s because of the cast and the comedy handled by Seth MacFarlane it’s a really compelling story about a guy wether he chooses to be with his friend or the girl of his dreams and I’m looking forward to your reaction to the sequel which wasn’t as good as the original but it was funny, love your reaction Cody!
That knockdown, drag out fight in the hotel room is cinematic gold.
There’s a lot of funny moments and I know this wasn’t a universal project at first. When it was being developed it was originally at 20th century fox since some of the shows Seth McFarlane were made by fox television but Seth wanted a $65 million budget which fox said that’s too much (even though almost a decade later they made Deadpool 2 with a $110 million budget) and denied the project so Seth went to universal and they agree with the budget and that how’s universal made the film
The weird guy's kid is in Cobra Kai now, weird to think it's the same actor.

Ted is an awesome comedy from the comedic mind of Seth MacFarlane! He proved he can take on live-action too, not just animated sitcoms!
I hadn’t seen the movie in a while. I forgot it was basically a live action Family Guy
And Ted himself is a live-action talking Rupert.
It really isn't, at least not like classic Family Guy
On the morning of September 11 2001 Seth Macfarlane was scheduled to return to Los Angeles on American Airlines flight 11 from Boston, suffering from a hangover after the previous night celebrations that followed his speech at his alma mater, the Rhode Island school of design, and with an incorrect departure time (8:15 a.m. instead of 7:45 a.m.) from his travel agent, he arrived at Logan International Airport about ten minute too late to board the flight, as the gates had closed fifteen after departure, American Airlines flight 11 was hijacked, and at 8:46 a.m. it was flown into the north tower of the World Trade Center, killing everyone on board, Macfarlane said: the only reason it hasn’t really affected me as it maybe could have is I didn’t really kill that I was in any danger until after it was over, so I never had that panic moment, after the fact, it was sobering, but people have a lot of close calls, you’re crossing the street and you almost get hit by a car… this one just happened to be related to sometime massive. I really can’t let it affect me because I’m a comedy writer, I have to put that in the back of my head, actor Mark Wahlberg was booked to fly on American Airlines flight 11 on September 11 2001 but his plan changed the day before and he canceled his reservation. He received backlash for stating in a 2012 interview, if I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. He added that there would have been a lot of blood in that first class cabin and then me Saying Ok we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry, he issued an apology after family members of those killed on the flight expressed outrage

Don't get me wrong I love animated "kids" movies like they're my oxygen, but it's refreshing to watch some more adult oriented movies

Yeah Giovanni Ribisi is a pretty underrated actor, but the stalker subplot and finale comes off as so contrived it hurts, but this film’s a ton of fun.
This movie reminds me of the story of Robert Eugene Otto because he also kept his toy in to his adult life to. And this movie really is amazing and funny.
