It took 100-200 years back in the day because time moved so much slower back in those days. Taking one message from other side of planet might took couple weeks. Here i am giving it to you with speed of light. Or almost. So what i mean is that it doesn't necessarily take 100-200 years anymore. Death makes an artist that's true.
And after the artist is gone, after that people will keep the music alive if it's good enough or someone who has the rights to the music is powerfull enough.
Good choice for the music to this tribute video. And also nice clips even though I was hoping to see a young cute teenager with a sax and school band clip too ; )

I apologize!) just watched that documentary recently, but got confused) it's a couple of moments there I got confused with Tero and Tuomas)) but I have problems with facial recognition sometimes) on the newest documentaries (EFMB in making) they don't look alike anymore, but when they were younger they had some similar features as for me) but I'm face blind very often, so don't trust my opinion! 😜
