Am I the only one who’s impressed with Batista becoming a big Hollywood star late in life? He entered Hollywood when he was 40, which for most people would be considered to be too late to be a star but within a decade, he became a big star. That’s just impressive.
He's been dreaming of this since the Super Cena days.(2006-2012 where Cena was the MAIN focus in the company). He's openly commented how it's not fair for the company to only care about John Cena. Other wrestlers might want to do some movies. So I'm glad he's living it up in Hollywood.
For a split moment I was thinking maybe he was following in Keanu's footsteps for publicity but I'm going to side on optimism and say he did it to show appreciation on his first set.

He was excellent in Blade Runner 2049. He was only in the first scene, but he managed to be vulnerable and tragic and even a little heroic, and you remembered him for the rest of the movie. Didn't know he could act so well.
From what i read, director of that movie Denis Villeneuve recalled when Ryan Gosling told him about how he and the other cast and crew where impressed by Dave Bautista's performance and his vulnerability. I can't wait to see what Dave's Glossu Rabban will be like in Dune 2020
