I played around with EPP a few years ago. I didn't have a plan for a design. I tried to work that out myself but I eventually put it aside. I just found your RUclips channel and learned about your quilt along. I have subscribed to your channel and signed up for your free Patreon Community and downloaded the info for this quilt. Not sure I will continue with the pieces I played with previously (much smaller hexies) or start over with the larger hexie. In either case, I will probably make a smaller quilt but I'm excited to have a plan for a hexie project. Thank you.
You make me so happy just to see your beautiful smile and listen to your love of stitching. God bless you and your family. Stay healthy, safe and happy.
I'm going to join in, but with my flowers I started a couple years ago. I had been saving 2.5" strips from most of the fabric I've bought for the last 20+ years & made into either scrub shirts or quilts. I have SO MANY HEXIES!! Almost all are preped & ready to go - bright & sunny yellow for the centers, no 2 flowers will be the same & the same viney green will surround the flowers. I REALLY needed a kick in the backside to get going...I am taking my hexies to my Retreat next week!!
Ooh Ihave an epp quilt started (about 2 years ago) that I have been meaning to get back to. It is smaller hexies but I have about 3 flowers done. This has spurred me to pull it back out and get moving on it. Ty
I have never quilted but have always been interested in. I have my grandmother's Dutch gurl quilt. It needs some love, but I'm not sure where to begin. I need to find some reproduction fabric for. I thought this might be a good intro for me to learn. I have had a needle in my hand since I was 6 or so (60 + years!) So let's go ladies❤❤
So excited for this! I have a lap size GFG that I pieced when my sister was ill in 2017/2018. I finished the piecing and have it sandwiched,... but it's stuck there :(. I also have a drawer dedicated to my EPP supplies, just waiting to make something with my Tula Pink fabric :). In the meantime I think I will make some table runners while y'all work your quilt! Thanks for including us!!!
Been a busy summer, but this sounds like fun & a long-term QAL! if I can get myself together, I am going to try and gather the supplies. There’s been a few other floss tubers doing EPP I’ve noticed and I’ve always wanted to try. The bigger ones sound better than the mini. one and a half inches sounds like a much nicer size to work with. I also like the idea of taking the math and just doing a table runner since this is a new adventure. Either way I enjoy following both your channels and all the things you do. thanks to you, Kari and Shellie for always putting out easy to follow instructions and fun content to keep us learning in these crafty endeavors.
You sure do get a lot said fast! Love the energy. I really don't know how you get so much accomplished, Amazing! do you take special vitamins?? Love seeing all the beautiful things you create. Looking forward to doing the grumpy garden quilt with you ladies. Thank you for sharing all your goodies.
I am sure looking forward to working on my Hexi quilt along with you both. Started a few years ago. Grumpy Susan makes me laugh. My great grandmother also looks very 'serious' in photos... she was a very stern woman. Off to find some white & Green fabric to continue on with our project. Happy Stitchin'
I'm so excited! I'm going to use tilda fabric that I've had for a while. Quick question, do you know where I can get the cross stitch pattern for the rose behind you? That's on your shelf? Love it!
I have sewn the 18 blocks. I need to start the green. I’m excited I got this much done and look forward to finishing the quilt.
I just started to do EPP and love it. Thank you for all the detailed information and looking forward to joining you.

I’m so excited! I love doing EPP but I have never committed to a quilt. This sounds like a good time. 😁
Oh no! I haven't even finished my beanie yet! I am VERY very interested in EPP, so I will be watching and learning as you go.
I'm ready, bought a few more FQs just in case. So excited to be QALing with you and Shellie

So much fun! I have always wanted to make a Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt. I’m in! Thanks so much to you and Shelly for doing this.
So much fun!! I have only done a few EPPs but never actually made anything.
Thank you, Kari, for all the math. This will be great fun b

So glad you are joining the fun!
Thanks so much to you both! I have not done EPP, but I am intrigued. Janine
Will join in as I love EPP but will use the smaller 1 inch hexies as that is what I have and prefer. Fun project, love your GGma’s quilt.
I am going to start with a table runner, hopefully it will give me confidence.
Great idea!
Thanks for the requirements pdf. I had the template and a few papers in a package,so now to sort my fabrics. Blessings.
Wonderful!
I am so excited. I've always wanted to do this. Thank you for doing this for us.

😊🪡🧵🤗🤩
Shellie, where did you buy the Bee/hexi box that you bought for Kari and yourself?
When are you going to teach us to finish the quilt
I'm so excited! I'm going to use tilda fabric that I've had for a while. Quick question, do you know where I can get the cross stitch pattern for the rose behind you? That's on your shelf? Love it!
That rose stitch was a gift from Shellie. I believe it was from a magazine, not sure which one though.
Hi, I joined your free patreon but see where to get the download for this quilt, can you please tell me how to get it
You didn’t mention how big you cut your fabric to go around your paper pieces. Thank you…🤗🧵🪡🧵
I understand the side is 1 1/2". I was wanting to know the diameter of the finished hexi. they look bigger than 1 1/2" across
If the sides are 1.5”, the hexi should be 3” from corner to corner.
I have a group of hexie son the house how do you measure them to know what size I have
unable to get the pdf file on the free membership tab. It just spins....
Have you tried logging into your Patreon via a computer and not a mobile device? If you still have issues please email me at kari@tigerlilyshop.com
@@TigerLilyDesigns I finally saw the paperclip and got the pdf file. Thanks.
Why is it so hard to find the free pattern and how do I contact you to find out more information on this quilt along
Were you able to find it on Patreon? If not send me an email.
@@TigerLilyDesigns I cant find it please email me the pattern and I only see video one only where do I find the other videos, please
What's the finished measurement of a finished hexi?
1 1/2 inches
I don't use paper to make hexis. I use the circle method. So I need to know if I have an Accquilt circle that finishes the proper size.
