How about using a round jewelry box that also gets finished inside as a sewing box for the Rose stitch. Stitch would go on top. It would be pretty with a pink jewelry box. You did a great job on your sweater.

Kari - my Dad raised peacocks when my sisters, brother & I were growing up. Our job was to go in & collect the feathers when the peacocks shed them. Peacocks have spoken to me my whole life. Love them so much & your peacock keepers.🦚

I think the '3-holey thing' is laying tool. It's often used in needlepoint and probably embroidery. If so, the 3 holes are just part of the scroll decoration.

I love anything vintage. You can do so much with old things and I also Lori Holt.

I think the fancy part of the tool is actually the handle and the pointy part is the bottom and it’s a laying tool for needlepoint and embroidery. You use it to straighten the thread/floss as you are pulling it through the hole from top to bottom. It is very helpful when stitching with wools.

I turn 40 in October and I’ve been trying to brainstorm something to do. Not sure I’m up for starting 40 new kits (mostly because $$) but I definitely want to do something. I’m mostly a finish a project before you do something else person… but I currently have 6 wips and only just decided to back burner one until later this year because I was tired of it.

I have 2 big projects-both are 12 parts- that were a priority for me in 2024…didn’t start either. So for 2025 my goal is to complete them by 10/31 so I can have them framed for Christmas 2025. I have to meet my monthly goals in order to stitch anything else!! I also said I would not purchase any new patterns In 2025. I’m 1 month end- no new purchase and behind on my goal. Im optimistic that I can do it!! 😊
