I just got the SR16 and so far, I cannot get a beep out of it. No sound of any drums. Maybe I haven't got the wires hooked up right? On the back, I see the Right and Left 1/4 inch imputs but I am only using one wire. could that be the problem that I don't get a sound? Can you help me on this? Thanks.
Hmmm. What are you connecting it to? Try connecting it to a variety of things (mixer, amp, stereo, etc) and see if any of those work. If you are only using one wire, the sound would be mono. Try hooking it up in stereo, even just for the sake of testing to see if you can get any sound out of it. It may have an internal issue.
Hi. Just got an SR16. I had a Roland DR 670 which gave me 32 voicing parts in each drum set which was great. The SR16 only has 12 pads and therefore only 12 voicing parts. When making patterns, am I limited to just these 12 or is there a way to access more than 12 somehow? Thanks.
Thanks for the idea. I was making a simple pattern for "Some kind of wonderful" So I added the 54% swing and it settled right down.
Cool!
Hi! By 8 notes does it mean that you set up quantize on that musical note with 1 line and number 3 at the bottom of that note? Thanks
You can set it to run at many time signatures, quarter, eighth, sixteenth, etc.
