    Damn I thought I was going to be disappointed with some fluff piece. This is spot on! I have had an S550 since 2015 and I've done all of these mods plus many more. If there is one thing that I have learned, it is that the driver is the most important performance part of the car. If you can find HPDE events at your local track and get a good instructor, you'll be way ahead of the other guys who have no idea what they're doing. My first time on track I was getting my ass kicked by dudes in Miatas. No kidding! They'd be right off my rear bumper until I got to the straight aways, and then I'd pull away from them and then they'd be waving at me from what seemed like my back seat to point them by at the next straightaway! It was quite enlightening and humbling to have a 130hp car beating my ass around a track. I got a good instructor and now that doesn't happen anymore 😁

    h-pipe with aggressive tone Axle back is amazing. always get compliments. At speed cruising its as quiet at stock, then you hit the throttle and its like yep its a Mustang. Best Mod I have done to date.

    Steeda kicks ass! They're absolutely the most knowledgeable modders of S550 Mustangs. Their parts are top notch quality and they stand behind their products. I have a TON of them on my S550, from suspension to the clutch spring and even the functional rear race wing, which helped keep the car planted when approaching high-speed corners at the track.

    It is crazy how incredibly engineered these s550 mustangs are considering their low price for what they give. So glad I bought one and can't wait to put some springs and swaybars to improve that corner sway.

    the steeda clutch spring assist and tri-ax race shifter and gearbox mount bushing were the first mods I bought for my 2016 GT PP1....have not installed them yet so can't comment
    first I went for new wheels (staggered 20s to square 19s), next is the Corsa Extreme to Borla Touring
    and while changing the exhaust I will probably install the shifter mods
    next spring is probably stiffer ARBs and maybe 2018 intake, CAI and a tune
    but I want to enjoy the car as it is first , did not drive it much yet and want to see what I like/don't like before going crazy with mods (the shifter feel is probably the only thing I don't like so far)

    I own quite a few Mustangs all at different stages but on my 2018 I bought fully loaded with Magne-ride and Active Exhaust if you change the Springs isn't that effecting the electronic shocks? And if you change X-Pipe or Mufflers how is that not altering the Active Exhaust system? My Shelby's are equipped with JRZ's, JRi's, and QA1's on another so this time I wanted the Magne-ride with the 10r80 but sometimes it feels 'floaty' with this suspension but maybe I am used to my race setup on other ones

    I have a brand new 2020 mustang GT and my question is, should I bother with the Ford Performance Power Pack for just over $1000? I would get some gains but minimal (but i would retain the factory warranty) or should I just enjoy the car as is, leave it stock for now, and consider a supercharger or turbo after the 3 year warranty is up? Keep in mind, I will likely end up with a supercharger or turbo anyway. Anything helps! thanks!

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  4 года назад +1

      It all depends on what your goals are with the car? In stock form, the 2020 GT is already pretty quick! Keep in mind the Ford Performance Power Pack has a separate warranty through Ford Performance Parts for 3yrs/36k miles if installed by a Ford dealer. It's a decent bump in power, but a proper tune from us or Lund Racing would really wake the car up... or wait until you're ready to go forced induction. All depends on what you prefer! Hope this helps! -Chris

    My Mustang sounds like there's marbles in the oil pan especially around 2,000 rpms. You have any mods for this?

    What a poor video. Good commercial, but if these are your top mods you are providing really bad information. At 61 years old, I started working on cars at the age of 15. I built a large custom shop and focused on USA muscle cars (of course Mustangs being one of the biggest). I am retired now built have a nice shop at home and still work on my own cars, 2 being Mustangs. There are much more important mods that should be done first.

    In your title you need to list whether 6spd or 6r80 or even 10r80 as this list not really for Automatic cars

    Won't buy. Not mod friendly at all. Very few and select vendors. Will not support Ford if this is how they ant to control a car i purchase.

    it's crazy to spend $45,000 on a Mustang GT and then spend another $5,000 on Steeda parts to make the car drive like a sports car.
