Hi everyone! I tried my best to get this out on the 6th (the official 10th anniversary) but I ran into issue after issue with the export and eventually I decided to just re-record the entire thing. Enjoy!
Of course I’m partial but I’m going to tell you music has been a large part of my early life and I had so many friends who became successful. You make me so sad to hear how you’ve grown. See u all soon!
Hey Kyle. I don't know if you are reading this or if you will in the future because it's been a while since your last update, but I wanted to thank you for uploading these videos, you really do very well, and it is thanks to you that I learned to play the piano with my favorite songs and I have made very good progress for this short time I have been playing thanks to you. I wanted to thank you for being a very good teacher, because thanks to you tomorrow I will be playing The Scientist in front of my entire school (approximately 1700 people) and the government will also attend. You take all the credit. Thank you!
Hey there! Thank you so much for the kind words, I really appreciate it. I'm very happy to hear my videos have helped you, and the credit absolutely goes to you for sticking through and learning! I wish you the best of luck at your performance. You're going to kill it but most importantly it's going to be fun so enjoy it :)
Thanks for the cover and tutorial, also I wanna thank u, cause, thanks to your tutorials, me and my band are preparing a tribute to Coldplay this November in Cusco Perú, thanks for everything and never let us without videos :3
This morning I realized that it's quite a long time ago since you uploaded a video. And somehow it's today when the next video comes. That's funny. 😂 Nevertheless this is a great cover of a great song by a great band. I'm so happy I can learn it now. Thank you! ❤
Nice!! Such an underrated and overlooked song, when it actually has such a creative harmonic movement! And as per usual, you did it more than justice and absolutely nailed :) Also, enjoyed how you included the differences between the (rare) live performances and the studio version and the overdubbed piano parts! Cheers, Jo
Hey thanks Jo! Yeah especially after not listening to the song for a while before learning it, it's really hit me how great it is. And thanks! I never really noticed that backing piano before now so I had to try and throw it in there. ;)
Lets gooo, thanks for another amazing tutorial Kyle, your work with Coldplay songs is amazing. I would like, if you can, for you to make tutorials for other songs that you have already uploaded before, like Amsterdam or other songs from A Rush Of Blood To The Head (my favorite album with its live 2003), but with this great video quality that you have now. Your tutorials are the best. Greetings from Colombia
I'm so happy you redid this tutorial!! (it was in need of a fresh update I feel despite me still learning from it) this cover is absolutely brilliant KB. (I did originally watch it when it released but I was too busy to comment) I absolutely love this song with all my heart probably one of the best coldplay songs ever written ill be honest and it perfectly encapsulates the transition of the band from the poppy sounds of Mylo Xyloto to Ghost Stories (this song and Moving Mars are like those sort of transition era songs). Thank you so much for uploading this KB its brilliant as ever. p.s. I know another song that needs a new tutorial..... **Rainy Day**
Oh yeah and i much prefer the format of including the cover in the actual tutorial so you can hear what it sounds like and get a better feel on how the song should sound when you do learn.
Hey thanks! I absolutely agree. I think it's one of their best songs. Top 10 for sure! I'm slowly going back and updating some tutorials so I'll add that one to the list :)
Hi. Verry talented people with unique talent and work. You are doing excelent state of art works that requires time and inspiration. I really want the midi file of this song please.... Thanks alot and cheers. Have fun, inspiration and good luck further in your life and work.
Could you please redo the “Lovers in Japan” tutorial? The one you have is like 12 years old, would be good to modernize it. I would appreciate it a lot, love your content!
