    Love how the dirt bike manufacturers have to make the bikes choked up and silent then you hear a stock Harley ride by, let alone one with a pipe on it. Aftermarket is gonna love this bike! Thank you Honda!! Dreams do come true after all!!

    I want one! Only problem is I have to get rid of the old gsxr750 to make room for it. I’m getting to old for the racer crouch the 750 puts you in and think that this could be a fun more comfortable replacement

    Still waiting to hear what the service intervals are going to be... But could be very tempted to trade my 250 in

    I just don't know about the rubber things on the sprockets. Seems like they would start to deteriorate after a while and cause problems with the chain or something. It just seems weird to me for some reason.

      Andy Black And I would like to see the replacement cost of these sprockets

      There are rubber o rings between every link of the chain and they do just fine, I doubt there would be any issues with the sprockets

    Service intervals are ?
    Oil change every recommended miles ?
    Valve adjustment every miles ?
    These are the important questions / considerations for this bike

    • @MillionShews
      @MillionShews 6 лет назад

      Bluepunk oil change every 600 miles and valves every 1800 miles

    The Bike is to late build for EU and Euro 4. In Europe this Bike have only 25 HP. The same as the CRF250L. 40Hp is Ok. Have great fun in USA with the open CRF

    40hp = crf250 level. The beast is tamed.

    • @NSteele76
      @NSteele76 6 лет назад +4

      250 is 24BHP

    • @crossplanem110
      @crossplanem110 6 лет назад +2

      @nick hes talking about the mx 250 crf racer which truly makes 40+hp... your 24hp must be referring to the street crf250l

    • @TheWallsocket
      @TheWallsocket 5 лет назад

      Of course it’s tamed, it’s quiet af and meets current emissions requirements w a catalytic converter - issues all street legal bikes face. New exhaust + ecu tune fixes that no problem.

    I like this bike however I would really prefer an updated reliable Japanese DUAL sport tooled for longer distance rides, with fuel injection, disc breaks, a 400cc or 500cc in a 300lb Max package with 4K+ oil changes & 18k+ valve check intervals for $10k+...Might as well “throw” in a very modern piece of technology called a “fuel gauge”....So essentially a more powerful WR250R I suppose.. something when I ride 600 mile weekends I wouldn’t need to perform maintenance to continue riding. The current DRZ is close minus fueling however was hoping for fuel injection...let’s face it...it’s convenient. Given I need to ride 100 miles to access trails that setup would be ideal. I was close on pulling the trigger on a WR250R however was hoping some reliable Japanese brand would come out with a more powerful option with same features and maintenance intervals....not certain if its possible...I do ride/own a large 1200 ADV bike however I would like something that is lighter for the rougher single track stuff. Hurling 585lbs through single tracks isn’t what it’s cracked up to be...

    Looks to be a one-sport bike. I didn't see any proof of on road performance.

    What does PLENTY OF HP up in the 40s mean????? Any PROOFED numbers here?
    The bike has around 27HP for the European Market... so its a totally different setup than for the US market??
    REAL PROOFED Numbers pls, no hearsaying or guessing....must be possible ;)

      Kevin Nash drink more beer, eat Chipotle burritos, and you too can squash that bad boy bike down like me. I am 5' 9" and once I throw my leg over the bike just sinks
