There's nothing like homemade cookies, with those yummy ingredients, and the marvelous aromas. I have never had them made with vanilla. I am like Joe. I KNOW that I would prefer the vanilla flavor better. Thank you, MaryAnn. I am going to try making this, using the vanilla recipe. YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY 💛🤗💛🎉

Just found your videos this morning I’ve done nothing but watch one video after another it is been so nostalgic for me and now the Pizzelle, wow. I make them once a month, my grandkids love them.
Of course, some like them thin, some thick, mostly they make ice cream sandwiches out of them.
It’s been a pleasure watching your videos today. Thank You 😊

Thank you MaryAnn for that great tutorial! 🧑‍🍳. It’s so great to share traditional family recipes. My late mother-in-law was first generation Italian and my husband makes pizzelles with vanilla (anise is not my friend lol) but I think next batch we’ll try lemon flavor. 🍋

Great job! We had the same iron, after it died, we had to go to Philadelphia to buy another... My mother would make them with the anise extract, and anise seeds as well. Now I make them in a healthier version, with gluten free flour, and Eggbeaters, you would never know the difference...

They are perfect coffee and tea cookies. My mother also prefers her hand held mixer over the Kitchen aid stand mixer, Lol. Thanks for sharing Mary Ann! ❤

One of my favorites! I like the anise, but I also like almond flavor. Fortunately we have a couple of good Italian markets nearby because I don’t really like to bake. One of my other favorites for the Christmas cookie tray are pistachio leaf cookies.
