Thank you so much for for saying all the color mixes that you use in all your videos! For me, as a beginner and self taught, it helps me to understand what I need to do with the colors.
A lot of urban sketchers don't start with a pencil, they just get into it with ink. I will have to just get into it but still lean on pencil to get orientated on the page. The main thing is to start!
Oooh, I love espacially the chipsbag-shadow this time! So artfully! And the colourmix of the egg carton label - not pink, not brown... something different and special! 🥰
Hi Becky ! I just love your art work ! The way you paint everyday things in such a 3D effect you can almost pick them up from the page !! Incredible ! You are such a great artist ! Thank you ever so much for sharing ! Always a joy to join you ! Warmest regards and blessings to you ... Lorraine 🥰🤗🎨🌷
really love how you pick everyday items/views and make it into something so interesting to look at along with your observations! really an inspiration for my own sketchbook.
I am a new follower of your channel and I want to say thank you so much. I have been wanting to get back to my creative roots and your are the perfect teacher and inspiration.
Hi Becky! You are so amazing!! I loved this tutorial and just always love the fact that you never afraid of maybe making a mistake. Love your lose style of painting. You are very inspiring. Thank you so much.
Thanks for posting, Becky! I needed it. Not that I was looking to learn techniques…. just that sometimes, your videos act like medicine, if you know what I mean. =)
Coincidence that you should mention Arteza paper. I got two jArteza watercolor journals this week from Amazon. So far my work doesn’t look as nice, using this paper. I can’t send them back. I will try a bit more and if I’m still disappointed with the way the colors sit on the paper I will donate them to charity. Your paper looked smoother than the journals I bought. Cute pages today at the end of your journal.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Arteza sketchbook. It's true that the same sketchbook may not work well for everybody. Over the years, I've also found that no sketchbook is perfect, I just try my best to work through the challenges and just enjoy the sketching experience. :)
Thank you, now I know its better to love challenges and not afraid making mistakes.
I like the title you gave to this video. Very philosophical and meditative

I love watching you sketch and paint. Especially food items.

You're welcome, Christine! ☺️💗
I enjoy watching you effortlessly record the world around you. Just curious: how much do you speed up your videos?
Thank you ☺️ For the drawing part, speed is 4 times faster; the painting part is 2 times faster.
Very pretty!
Thank you! 😊
Wow, another finished sketchbook! Becky, is there any chance you would be able to do some more videos of sketching at normal speed?
Sure, I will consider speaking while filming my process, in some future videos. :)
@@BeckyCao thanks!!!
