Qantas A380 in the Back ..RIP the A380s
They are missed and will be missed, it's sad to see how their fate has turned out.
It was just too big and created too many problems for airports and airlines. The A380 was doomed from its inception.

I also enjoy spotting at Founders' Plaza. Just the main problem is that majority of the takeoffs/landings of larger planes are on the farther runway. Still, I have caught quite a few interesting shots at DFW. Feel free to check them out on my channel if you wish!
Ughh, that's the issue with that, agreed. The ATC should have us, plane-spotters, in mind that we want to see the larger airplanes and other airlines that are not American up close!
My dad has lived in the area for a long time and he told me you used to be able to spot on the eastern side before they closed it down.

Awesome! At 11:20 though, that guy is walking with that massive aircraft like if he were walking a dog, I would be terrified and probably just keep thinking about the wheels squishing me.

I live in Austin too. I feel you. But hey, British Airways is coming back to Austin in October with their 787s and Lufthansa is coming back soon with their a330s and KLM will come with their... not 787s but their a330s in March 2022! Also, once SXSW is back in person then SAS will come with their A340s for that. And Hawaiian is already here with their a330s. Just give it some time!

So sad to see what covid has done to the aircraft/airline diversity at DFW. Only dreamliners and the occasional 777, mostly only American. The only foreign airlines I’ve seen are one Korean Air flight to/from Seoul and one Japan Airlines flight to/from Tokyo. British airways is just now this week doing one flight a day with a dreamliner to/from London.
Yes, it certainly is sad. It's unfortunate than none of those airplanes are landing on the Founders' Plaza side due to the closure of runway 18R/36L. Hopefully more airlines decide to come to DFW!
The pandemic has turned most of the worlds busiest airports into ghost towns. Capacity has plummeted by over 50%. You won’t see many international carriers anywhere right now.

It definitely did, it looks like the ground effect made it float longer.
How do you know where the planes are from and where there going next
I use FlightRadar24 to look up the registration and see where they went to and headed from on that specific date.
