I've had my avata for like 3 months now and just yesterday I found out that you can adjust the vertical take off and landing speeds and yaw speed in settings. It was set to 0.5 meters per second which made it go up down yaw left and right very slowly. I bumped those settings to max and now it hauls a$$ in all directions even in sport mode.
@@jayrkrishnan its in the settings that you change through the goggles. I have found it there a while ago. what you can adjust is the movement of the avata when controlled with the little joystick located on the top of the motion controller. I dont know where it is exactly in the settings but just look through it a bit. if you cant find it just comment back and ill have a look.
Got me in trouble at a drag race event. Was flying my Mini 2 taking cinematic shots and photos without trouble and 2 minutes after taking off the Avata over the PA system they said whoever has the drone needs to stop flying or get kicked out. I’m paraphrasing but needless to say it was landed and put back in my truck. It’s a pretty heavy drone mainly because of the battery. And with the ability to easily hit 50 mph those motors are WORKIN.
As someone who has never flown a drone before I decided to buy this as my first drone and honestly I like this controller now keep in mind I had never flown a drone up until 2 days ago when my avata arrived and Im doing great as a beginner with this controller. Definitely wanna invest in one of the regular controllers tho.
@@edgararcega3046 No you can't. The goggles do give the possibility of head tracking but that alone is not full control of the drone. It's a useless gimmick anyway
You have to change the hemisphere settings. It’s prob set to SH if you’re in the northern hemisphere. Or it’s set to NH if you’re south. Hope this helps!
so if you're used to a standard stick controller, is this tough to learn. are your more likely to crash because your reflexes are geared towards a different controller
@@FlytPath Agreed. Been flying for 15 years - the motion controller is super intuitive. I think having a lot of flying experience helps make it simple, not the other way around.
Not even close to all that does 😂😂😂😂 it’s using gyroscopes and accelerometers to precisely calculate what the drone is to do. This is far more sensitive to your movements and you can get better more natural control of it over a regular drone radio which is an awkward pain in the ass to use.
Why they would bundle with that silly drone dildo controller is moronic. That should have been the optional accessory the remote should have come bundled with it standard.
ALL FUCKING DRONES MAKE THAT NOISE! If you’re gonna fly a fucking drone you’d best get used to the sound of brushless motors because they DONT COME QUIETER!
I hate this controller with a passion. I almost didn't buy an avatar because I couldn't get over the stupid motion controller. I bought one, and first impression. I want to return this thing. Why would you not give people the option to stick to conventional radio?
Because it’s better once you grasp it. It isn’t even hard to fly like this. I hate conventional radios they’re always to damn bulky and to many knobs and shit.
@@lonewolftech it's definitely not "better" you cannot perform acro or anything. You cant even fly fast with it. You're simply guiding it, with a normal radio you have full control over the aircraft.

Nice I just barely got one. My controller has a brake button where this video has a toggle. Still trying to figure out basic movements.
Dang that sucker is loud!
too loud.
Lol 😂 my wife just got mad. She was sleeping and come out mad as fuck saying its stupid loud

OR you can bypass the controller and run it fpv with the controls on the goggles
@lonewolftech say what? You can control this thing with just the goggles? How so

Can I Link This to The DJI Ariel View Remote Control?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can fpv mode and this motion controller be used without goggles? Those goggles are expensive as heck.
Does this work with the DJI FPV drone?
Yes.
I could not get the controller 2 to sync with dji fpv
cool, I got it today, will see tomorrow after firware update

The dji avata is my best drone
this video helped me figure out how to fly sideways. Anyone know how to move the gimbal other than head tracking?
Joystick or head tracking
Bruh why is this not on SoundCloud mf slaps!! We out here from the bay slappin
Is this compatible with DJI FPV?
That is the fpv!
Not yet
Looks like Canyonside in RPQ 😀
I thought you would twist for rudder ?
Cattle sound 🤠
you should do test on how high you can hear it?

Regular controllers suck they’re always big bulky things with way too many switches and buttons in the way of everything .

Looks confusing from a 2nd or 3rd person point of view 😂
i have one ,i love it but its just Too much Noise!
I wouldn’t make a habit of taking off from grass like that.
Why?
Land mine and take off on grass all the time
Sounds horrible but I want one. Currently have fpv
It's hard to get used to this kind of control.
Took me 10min.
I hate how you turn the joystick left the drone turns right i would switch that for mine
God I hate that thing! 😂 I wanted to smash it when flying especially with no reverse. 🤪
Still trying to figure out a way to actually buy an Avata with the real controller, without having to get that separately. DJI losing money...

Don’t buy it period. Buy a proper cinewhoop
An dji hasn’t lost a dollar over this package deal 😂 this drone is meant for that controller and the googles not a regular fucking controller
