  • Marco Island Executive Airport (MKY) had the pleasure of hosting Dream Flights, a nonprofit organization that honors veterans with a free flight in a restored World War Two-era biplane. The four veterans, Rudolph "Rudy" Billings, Paul McCarragher, Armand Gaudiosi, and Louis "Lou" Ouillette, took part in the experience of Dream Flights' mission of "giving back to those who gave."
The Dream Flights staff, volunteer pilot Molly Littlefield, and volunteer crew chief Keith Littlefield said Dream Flights is approaching its 7,000th flight provided to veterans. "Both of our fathers flew during World War Two, so of course, we go way back with our family connections," Keith Littlefield said. We both have family members who are either veterans or serve. Military life and veterans have been a part of our world since day one."
Collier County is proud to have contributed to this and thanks the four gentlemen for their service to this country. For more information on the Dream Flights organization, visit www.dreamflights.org.
