My 12 year old Golden Retriever, Picasso was diagnosed with B-cell Lymphoma about two weeks ago. He’s on the floor in front of me, resting after his second round of chemotherapy. About ten minutes ago, I curled up next to him and hummed this to him while it played on my tv. He’s a strong dog, and I’m feeling optimistic that we can get a couple of good years for him, but right at this moment, he’s feeling tired. But, his “daddy” is here for him. “As I lay next to you…..”
This is probably the best live acoustic in the history of mankind. Better than known bands, like GNR, kiss, bon Jovi, you name it, but this is overall is the best 🎸
Tate was a visionary, DeGarmo and the band were first rate musicians and writers/composers. But for me I always come back to the sheer technical brilliance of Tate’s voice. A generational talent, blowing our socks off from the EP onward. Just incredible.

That was ridiculous. The talent to reproduce that stripped down and live with 5 guys, whilst still capturing the epicness of the original production. Wow.
I only went to watch some show. I believe it was Metallica or something but I went for the open which was Queensryche and they are the only ones I cared to see. I had to be searched for a knife. I really didn't appreciate but I went through this to see some people whom I believe are truly great 😅
