Very very tough, technically impressive and all. However, what I don't like about these full-contact karate styles is the emphasis on destroying each other in competitions where my guess is competitors are not getting paid for fighting... on the contrary, perhaps many competitions charge you a fee for competing. Just look at those knockouts, they can be life-crippling... bad, bad, bad
@@thestrongestkarate-ashihar5430 I know. Really tough guys. It's not for everyone though. My complain is that they're not getting paid like professional fighters, but the consequences of such way of competing can be very risky, and expensive, and they do it for free basically--I guess they even have to pay to enter the tournaments.
@@franciscogonzalezramirez5033 yeah competitors are not paid rather they need to pay...but it has been like this for years...what you think once...does Olympics pay any players for the tournaments...I guess no. But it would have been better if they were paid for the tournaments...
@@thestrongestkarate-ashihar5430 Olympians don't get paid as professional fighters either; however, there's government support and scholarships for them. Also, Olympic style rules seek to minimize the risk of injuries, but the risk is still there, whereas in Kyokushin the opposite is true: they seek to maximize damage. IMHO, it's unnecessary to have such gruesome tournaments. These guys CAN fight for sure. I don't think it's necessary to destroy each other in an unpaid sport to show it. To me, it kind of defeats the purpose and ethics of karate, but this is just my opinion. My deep respect to Kyokushin practitioners. Awesome .. it looks like kyokushin... I want to train karate however here in my place, there are only three styles . Shotokan, Shorin Ryu and Goju Ryu . Can you recommend me what style to train in those three styles? Thankssss a lot.
Enshin have a bit different katas than Ashihara and grabbing and throwing is allowed in full contact kumite of Enshin where as Ashihara Karate has Full contact kumite but not throws or grabs..osu!!
I think that is not for every one like the video says. For several reasons. One, is the flexibility and the other is be big like most in those videos. If you are big tall giant and with flex no matter what style you would do.
Sensei Ohtzuka developed his Wado ryu from Shotokan by adding, among other things, tai sabaki movements. Ashihara Sensei did the same, roughly speaking, starting from Kyokushin. So the difference is also in the application of techniques to combat.
